They seem to be somewhat slower than the norm on problem reports.

You need to contact support directly and not through the problem report area.

So I wrote what I thought was a pretty straight forward review of a lady that i repeated with 3x as well as our initial meeting.  I gave her a 9/9 which was quickly rejected, but then approved after I added a few comas.  The only problem was the review went from a 9/9 to 9/5 during the resubmission process.  Now is has been 3 days with no answer for why this would have happened.  This bothers me for several reasons.  Why would a review with 4 repeats with the same lady rated a 5  not be suspect and be approved to begin with.  Why does it take 3 days do correct some thing that was so obviously an oversight by someone.   If this kind of oversight is at all common it is yet another example of how the 1-10 rating system continues  to fail us here.  Many hobbyist have read the review and recognized the problem immediately and contacted me.  So why did TER miss this.  How long does this provider have to put up with the 5/10? I guess in Ter's defense this is the first problem I've had with a review; but it is one that concerns me way more then a review that is slow to post.

I am a paying member with 69 (hee hee) reviews. A little courtesy after 3 days would have been nice. Am I wrong here?

They go back and read others also.  Most are savuy enough to realoze when scores don't match the written portion and also when one review stands out from the others with a lpw score.  Witgh 69 reviews you have an established track record!

None of my reviewers meant to leave a 5- why should I settle for one? I'm in the upper part of the top 100, why should I lay down and let a horrible mistake affect me me or ASSume it doesn't hurt my business?

Life is what you make of it. I don't stay on the porch- I run with the big $&-#% dogs. If an injustice is given I speak up AFTER I take the demure measures to have it fixed. 36 hours is a reasonable time to have it fixed.

It's Dec- ok-  I don't pay $16.00 because people are on vacation. I pay $20 like every other month. Why should my income be effected when what I pay is not?

This is not a charity. This is FOR profit. I have been a paying member for 4 years. I deserve a nod at the very least when I post a problem. Not a jump- just a simple nod of acknowledgement. And no, not from YOU... from the people that actually run this site, and whom I pay my $$ to every month.

Veronica...I certainly can understand your concerns over this obivous error on TER's part.  I had presented a review very similar in HDDOC's and had virtually the same thing happen (I had given the lady a 9/9 and TER erroneously showed it as a 9/5).  I, and others had sent a problem report and this was corrected within a day or so.  Was there damage to the lady due to this error...I would hope not as anybody who took the time to actually read the review (mine as well as HDDOC"s) would clearly have known there was an error with the review score.  I am sure that there are a percentage of guy's out there that would only see the score and make an erroneous conclusion.  But I believe that the majority of the readers here know that HDDOC is a well respected reviewer and would have taken the time to either read the review, or PM him (as they did me) and ask what the real story might have been.

I totally agree that this should (and I believe will) be corrected ASAP.  But as Sin did point out, that for us regulars here we would not just look at the numbers, but read...and that would have been satisfactory to the majority that a TER error had occured.  I do hope that this is corrected ASAP so you can go on and enjoy the rest of the holiday season.

Yeah, but in having met you... there is no way there was a 5.  And in looking at your reviews, it is obviously an error.  Hopefully TER will get it fixed... though I do agree that the turn around time lately has been a little slow.
