Moderator Changing Review Scores?

I have received emails from 3 clients who said that they had a left a review with one score, but that it was posted with a lower score.

Why would TER lower scores from what was written? I read over the review policies and see no justification for it.

That seems really unethical to me.

Below is one of the emails:

"I have been around and around with the moderator this week. I did not rate you as a 7, but rather as a nine.
I saw the post go up and was shocked to see that I had been edited for some unknown reason. I have been back and forth with this individual all week, but to no avail. I apaologize that the rating is showing up as a 7,  because your time and companionship was well worth an 11. Sorry."

Perhaps I am missing something here?

I remember when I first joined TER over three years ago, the same thing happened  to a provider. At that time, the moderator listed something to the effect of 9s and 10s are reserved only for providers who do the following: BBJCIM, Greek, Asian, etc. That if they did one of the specialties listed they could be given a 9, and to get a 10 the provider had to do two of the specialties in the same appointment. The reason that was given was to maintain a high level of quality. In fact, I had a couple reviews knocked down from 9 and 10 to 8. As far as going from 9 to 7 is concerned that seems a little fishy if it’s true. Got to remember the client could be BSing you.

I was wondering how the reviewer ended up giving a '7' when it sounded like he had the time of his life! WTF?

We Moderators have no say or ability to edit or change a review.

So after trying to figure this all out, here is what I was sent by the reviewer:

Please visit the URL I provided in the previous post. Here is an example of our rating system:

By default a provider can obtain a max of 7.

She can gain pts if:

Blowjob-Without Condom = +1
Kiss- With Tongue= +1
Anal- Yes = +1
More Than 1 girl at a time- Yes, Really Into it= +1

If my review is read, and you add everything up, 7 should not be the final review tally. I originally gave a 9, not knowing that there was math involved. It WAS edited to a 7. In a previous email, that was stated outright. I understand that there is a need for some sort conformity, but at least the reviews should stick to the formula set forth. If it is going to be 7, plus, plus, plus, I think someone should remember to keep adding.

When you click on "Submit a Review" a list of guidelines comes up. No. 7 makes it clear that review ratings will be changed, if these guidelines aren't followed:

"In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she also willing to performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise the score she is eligible for by one point.

This does not mean she earns extra points for performing the service; just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is taken. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she has, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

This scale does not apply to FBSM or BDSM providers. By the nature of their service they are not expected to have these extras therefore they should not lose points for it.

If your review doesn’t already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it."

I understand and agree with everything that Mr. Helpful said. My problem or issue is that my review was edited outside these constraints. My numerical review was a 9, and I had all things mentioned above in mind and was happy with the outcome. The provider met the plus one, plus one, requirements, which have given her the correct review assignment. If she did not meet the criteria, then she would not have ANY 9's or above. Since my review "does not already accurately reflect this rating system, I hope that you adjust it", only push the review back to the 9 that the provider so deserves!!

Why do some providers get 9's & 10's yet no greek, no tongue, only one guy and CBJ's?
The standard isn't applied consistently not to mention the obvious self and bartered reviews that are way over scored IMHO

not all the time as they can't possibly monitor every review, but it does happen for the reasons the others listed below.

You can always ask them to write the scores into the review..."had the time of my life, a 10 for performance" so if the staff changes it at least the others can see what the reviewer intended you to have.

But how many people would remember to put that in when writing a review and who would think to ask someone to put that in if they were going to write one?

Who knows, if enough people started putting it in, the staff might not bother to change the scores.

It's a bit weird to specify that certain scores are reserved for certain activites when not everyone wants those activities during a session whether or not they are offered.

TER's system can be a little frustrating.  The system is great.  However, I find some guys get confused about how to rate girls.  All they have to do is read the FAQ guidelines, but many do not.

I consistently get 9's and 10's with an occasional 8 thrown in.  Recently, I received a 6 from a guy.  This guy got multiple pops, Greek, plenty of BBBJ (one to completion), and lots of TLC, etc.  The appointment was on time, at a great hotel, I was dressed in sexy lingerie and freshly showered.  Well, you get the picture.  I think a lot of these guys don't understand that Greek and BBBJ are considered above and beyond, so to speak.

I don't let it get to me.  I figure anyone with a brain will read my average scores and figure out that a 6 is an anomaly that indicates a guy who doesn't understand the scoring system.  Luckily, the guy did mention in the review that DATY, Greek, multiple pops, and BBBJ took place.

Ours is not a perfect world.
:p

She can gain pts if:
Blowjob-Without Condom = +1
Anal- Yes = +1

If I deduct the two points I got for the above, that means the guy rated me a 4, which is "she just laid there."  It's awfully hard to just lay there and give two BBBJ and Greek.  The guy even wrote in his review that it was well worth the cost involved, I responded well to his DATY and got very wet, and he put 7,6 (whatever that means).

I sense confusion.  LOL.
