So it seems I'm getting older and now the back problems have begun. Doctor said nothings broken and I need some physical therapy to strengthen my core. Instead of a chiropractor I had a better idea, and that's why I'm here! I'm looking for someone I can try to set up regular appointments with for a lower back rub and some....physical therapy.

Unless, you get yourself a CMT provider. Which do exist- but usually don't provide all the extra frills that most gents here are looking for. I personally love to give body rubs, but am not sure how therapeutic my body rubs actually are. Perhaps, you should search for a CMT. I am trying to think about whether or not I know a lady who is a CMT and offers everything else... But, I can't think of one at the moment...

I'm not sure how you define "Physical Therapy," but you might check her reviews. Great massage skills and she has experience with athletic injuries. A number of years of football, in the 70s, have taken there toll on my back. She makes back feel good

Thank you Tornacl : )
I have very mixed feelings on this post . The OP is on an escort site ISO PT which btw I'm a huge advocate of when taken seriously in a professional manor.  Physical  Therapy is not Massage Therapy and a body rub is not massage. Why not find someone in your insurance network?  PT has to be taken seriously to be effective and it's not just doing planks one day a week. It's everyday, and if it's low back issues diet ( which is out of my scope of practice) should be looked into as well.
Also if you see someone who isn't well educated in Anatomy & Kinesiology and say my low back hurts rub it. Your never going to get anywhere with that. Muscles work in pairs and for and against and referred pain patterns that I'm not going to get into on this board.

My best advise is to seek out a Illinois Licensed and Board Certified professional.

True, massages can help and chiropractors, too, but for long term improvement, it's critical that you learn the different strengthening and stretching exercises that are recommend and taught in PT.

Also, I highly recommend swimming or water aerobics classes at the gym, yoga classes or exercise videos, and my very favorite stretching video: "Karen Voight's Simply Stretch", or "Simple Stretch".

I can tell you from personal experience and years of chronic back pain from surgeries and lifting for years as a nurse, these things really help.  But, when it comes to certain injuries, (shoulders and backs), you might have to measure your improvement in years, not weeks or months.

And go for the FBSM whenever you want to!  Or go for FS, whatever!  These should probably be two separate issues, my dear.
