It seems that TER's decision to remove local mods and move moderation of the boards to "corporate" has significantly slowed down the interactive nature of the Chicago board.  In an attempt to liven up the boards and make them friendlier they have done just the opposite.

since the change, and that's never a bad thing.  I think the changes have been for the positive, but that's just me.

LA's movement has precipitously dropped, and the sound of crickets chirping should accompany the Orange County board.
