I still party and rarely work almost every weekend. Typically, there's a party going on (I hate bars) or I'll go to a punk or house show. I wake up most weekend mornings in the worst condition, I won't pretend I don't, haha. But I know when to tone it down and pull back, for example, last weekend I just went to a movie, had a couple beers after and got home around midnight.

Did the whole weekend party thing for many years . As I look at it now , once in a while is ok but ever damn Friday , Saturday and Sunday just don't sound or look right . What's your typical or preferred Friday night fun ?

But now a few hours "pre-gaming" at a friend house before we all go out to a bar and enjoy a long island! I enjoy music in the background just in case I get the dance bug(but not for 4 straight hours as before).
In the early 70's I lived and worked in San Francisco, and was newly divorced. Friday at six would start the weekend and it went non-stop to Sunday evening. After many months, of what I thought was fun, I started to compare the weekends to the revolving door, you would step into the door, but didn't stop going around, and around until Sunday night was when you were finally able to get out. I just thank god that I'm getting way to old for that shit today.
I lived and worked in San Francisco in the 80's. You could always have a great time at the bars or dance clubs in part because half the men in town were/are gay, so the odds were in your favor. My favorite place was/is the Saloon in North Beach. It is an old, narrow, wooden floor bar with a tiny stage in the rear. People danced next to the bar stools. Sometimes the musicians would jump up on the bar and play their instruments. The music always rocked and you could usually find a girl to dance with and sometimes make out with you in the alley next to the bar. Chicago reminds me of San Francisco in some ways, but the Chicago girls are much prettier, have better attitudes and are more fun.
Chicago girls can be uptight with a real attitude. San Fran chicks are more relaxed, laid back, and easy going Bohemian sort. My type
But we do have hotter women here.

I.e I'm sitting at the bookstore with two books "Why Men Love Bitches" & "Why Men Marry Bitches".
All of a sudden.. I've got guys jumping all over me. One from the left, one from the right
HOLY SHIT. They must have thought I was one
