To answer your question, it's not necessary to give your name out on p411 but most girl(including myself) will not see you without knowing your name.

Never never never in this line of work is it fine and dandy to meet with someone you don't know. I can understand "maybe" just maybe why someone wouldn't want to give their info to a random fly by night provider, but here you really have no excuse. No screening=no appointment.  P411 OKS are NOT an adequate verification. You could be sharing accounts with another guy(how many times had this happened recently hmm). Not all money is good money, if they don't want to screen fuck it you're life is worth more than an appointment. Btw ladies, I can't post the link here but a well known Dancer/Escort was just found dead...again it isn't worth it.

There are other ways to be screened and no, you don't have to be relegated to BP to find providers who don't require real information. There are plenty of high-quality providers right here on TER who don't demand your real info. RS2K/P411 make screening easier for providers which is why they push it so hard

If you don't want to give out your name, you will really limit yourself on what providers you can see.  Many providers, especially established, much-desired, and high-end providers, require your full name to screen you regardless of your website memberships.  However, there are also many ladies, such as myself, who are happy to screen you through your hobby identity and recent references from multiple providers.  P411 makes this method easier, since your okays from ladies who you've seen will be displayed, making reference checks easy.  P411 will allow a lady to know your real first name, but not your last name.  P411 does technically have a policy where you must be willing to show a lady contacted through their site your photo ID with your first name and numerical day of birth (but not the month or year of your birth) and can tape out all of your other info, including your last name and address, so that she can't see it.  However, this ID policy is selectively enforced by some ladies and not others, and usually ladies who require you to show ID upon meeting will inform you when booking.

RS2K will without question require you to give your full legal name to providers for them to verify you.  So P411 is probably your better bet.  But it will limit your options as far as who you can see if you do not want to give your legal name.  Perhaps you will selectively choose ladies who conduct themselves with professionalism and discretion to occasionally give your full name to so that you can see them.  This seems to be what many gentleman choose to do.

I've been very happy with P411. That, in combination with solid references from reputable ladies, is the key I think

but after hearing comments from a number of providers about how the OK system is manipulated on P411 and also hearing that some providers ignore the OK's, I don't see the point in paying an annual membership fee for a service like this. OTOH, showing a provider an ID with fingers covering the last name and address is no problem, the problem is in having your real name in a database we have no control over, hence the problem with RS2K.

The reference system is the best screening method the way I see it. Other methods requiring a full ID or having your real info stored somewhere are subject to unscrupulous providers using that info to blackmail, threaten, or coerce us. There is absolutely no reason why a provider needs to know a hobbyist's real identity unless she's reasoning she'll use this info in the future to destroy him if he misbehaves. It's basically a threat from the outset... give me your real info so I have the power to destroy you if you do anything wrong...and that includes a review she doesn't particularly like. That in itself is an immediately pass so I search out those who are willing to spend some time upfront contacting providers I've been seeing and asking them whether I'm OK. Heck, I even give a provider the choice of who they'd like to contact as references so they don't think I'm in cahoots with some provider for a good reference. I only see quality providers, all of whom are excellent references.

It's not necessarily the names that's the problem. It's the people you're dealing with. If someone wants to get at you, they can use anything - not just a name.  

Providers get ripped off a lot too, which a name is useful. This way she can warn other providers.  

It's much easier to change an email address than a real name - or even use a fake name.

Oh really? How about cross-referencing it with the sex offender registry? Or how about the fact that a new "hobby identity" can be created at any time to circumvent ladies finding out about past transgressions against other providers? By suggesting that those of us who require real, verifiable info only do so with the intent of "destroying" anyone is completely presumptuous and arrogant. That's like me saying that those of you who won't give out your real info are all out to do us harm. Please. There is a difference between discretion and anonymity. I didn't require real world info when I first started, and I had to deal with a lot of shit. Once I started requiring real info, I've had nothing but gentlemen in my presence ever since. I hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of clients have no issue providing us with whatever information we need to feel safe and comfortable.

I joined P411 when I was new to this because I didn't have references and it gave me access to Newbie-friendly providers. I was comfortable giving my identification to P411 because it felt like a good way to get verified, but outside of a specific transaction. I also liked the fact that i could create my own profile and let my personality shine through. Over time, I saw more girls and established myself.  So now I have decent set of references. For the most part, being Basic+11 in combination with references will give me access to the ladies I'd like to see. But not always. In those cases, I need to decide how badly I want to see them. I've given out my personal information in the past, and i probably will in the future, but its rare for me.  

Similarly, the ladies will operate under their own rules driven by their level of comfort. Some will see newbies, some require work verification. I may not always like it but I certainly respect their right to protect themselves. And if I'm not comfortable, I just move on.

Many more providers have hobbyists real names than hobbyists have providers real names. It's rare seeing an escort on a blacklist and she's usually placed there by one of her rotten egg competitors. I see a lot of real male names on NBL and the other BL sites. I also see a lot of excuses for placing their real names on NBL such as "time-waster" as well as a few other "serious" offenses that pissed her off for one reason or another. Not that anyone believes or even trusts the blacklists sites but seeing your real name on the internet in such a light is bad, real bad.

My point was that checking with the other ladies who have seen the guy recently and/or regularly gives a provider a better sense of how he behaves. It's too bad many ladies don't respond to reference requests in a timely manner although I've heard about abuses of the reference system which explains why they don't.

I was lucky when I stumbled into this that giving out my real info was an extreme rarity (only once that I recall and that appt wasn't so hot, I never even reviewed her, lol). Got lucky (pun intended) with an Eros girl who introduced me to her friends as well as TER allowing me to build up a rep without giving out my real info.

I'm one of those guys who doesn't have an uncontrollable urge to see a provider. I never have, there are some I'd like to see but if I can't, another will eventually come along. I'm patient and will wait for the next gem to roll around while staying in my comfort zone with trusted regulars. We're all driven by our comfort levels and mine happens to include not revealing my identity to a complete stranger, especially someone who has the power to completely destroy my life. I understand that most TER providers aren't BSC but all it takes is one mistake and having heard so many horror stories over the years about BSC providers ruining clients' lives, it ain't happening.

The reason why I don't see people who are unwilling to give their real info is because I think they have something they are trying to hide from me.  They might be violent, not have the money, intent to rip me off, or something like that.  If someone is unwilling to share themselves with me, then I am unwilling to share myself with them.  It is easy enough to just say no.  There are other desperate providers who are willing to see them, they can have them.  Some reputable ladies will as well, but I have to say most of them see that type only when DESPERATE and you are less likely to get them in their best showing.    But then most of that not wanting to share name guys are just looking for their nut so no issues.  Quality comes with good screening.

I agree, most guests that are serious about visiting and want to see me have no issue with providing everything I ask for and have a great time.  A few don't want to, but not into making exceptions.  There is just no way I would be able to relax and see someone I was not comfortable with.

It's OK, I doubt any of the 49 ladies I've reviewed will be insulted by your inference that they're of low quality and/or desperate because they didn't demand my real name. and the 1 meet and greet I and a couple of other ladies had, the guests were all to be screened by us and no lady was supposed to bring an unscreened guest.  Had I known, you would have been refused entry but also remember that was what 8yrs ago when things were not near as crazy as they are now.  Times, they are a changing and right now there are to many things going on you have no idea about and I will not share on a public board.  Sorry, but that is how things work.
