They got my alley twice and my sidestreet once.  I'd have preferred it the other way around though.

Yes, they do.  Major streets are cleared first, then side streets, and finally alleys.  Will take a few days.  Big snow plow will make one pass; you'll only have to clear your garage door.

They plow Chuicago alleys about the same time they plow cul-de-sacs in the suburbs. The priority is:
1. Major thoroughfares.
2. Secondary through streets.
3. Side streets
4. Cul de sacs.
We'll get out sometime tomorrow (Thursday).

Who is Alley ?

I love plowing in Chicago , but I don't think I've ever met Alley. Am I missing something?
