He gave me a christmas ornament, that is a motorcycle.
I keep it right by my TV ....

He was one of a kind and the best barber when it came to close shaves.
He is the only one that was allowed to shave my box.
I have trust issues down there.....lol

He took us all out to dinner several times several places one in particular were 7 of us he called us
the 7 wives of High and Tight. Papadeaux was the place. I went to dinner with him at his other favorite greek restaurant and chinese across from his business. When he passed away I was elected to dash on over to retrieve his hefty bag of trick toys before his spouse found them especially the gentlemen magazines autographed by someone in them. His waitress cried when I told her the news I think many of us did . A few of us attended services to bid him farewell  found some of us hold a trinket or two that he left behind. By the way HT happy belated birthday his was a day after mine.

HT had wishes. That everybody get along and if you had any conversations with him he would surely have told you he thought the banter was meaningless and would express with emotion how important it is to get along and have fun . Glad someone mentioned him today too .

Every once in awhile, I'll look at the correspondence between H&T and I and it's like he's still here. My one regret is I didn't stop by his shop as he'd requested on one of my trips north. Who knew it'd be too late? There are a lot of people we chatted about and I wonder how they're doing. For instance, H&T and I shared a love for KandieSweetbits and her service, among many others. Hope she's happy. Time marches on.

Never let it cloud your present.  I myself find myself yelling at kids these days about having their music too loud and looking at people who are currently "hip" and find them to be goofy but lets never forget that the present time will eventually be someones "glory days".

All you can do is keep your friends memory alive by projecting his wishes from yourself because he seemed like a great individual. Sad I never had the pleasure of talking with him about "this thing of ours" but by all of you reliving some of the memories it gives a lot of us a glimpse as to why he made such a lasting impression on you.

In the meantime just know the good times stop rolling the second you start letting life pass you by.  Without getting to sappy its a gift to be alive, right here, right now so dont take it for granted.

We always have a good time remembering the past when it come to H&T.

By having a positive outlook on life and live life to the fullest, there should be no regrets.

Boy all the memories I have are so wonderful, its been an interesting journey through the years of being in the buz.  I have enjoyed moments of everyday.

I will always have a SMILE on my face when it comes to all the hobbyist I have lost in my time!

Special thank you for the memories

Enjoyed talking with him about any and all things. His verbal antics on this board would make me smile, especially if the day in civvie land sucked.  I'm glad I got to have lunch with him and all his wives before his passing.

for my addiction to the hobby ..lol

I was fortunate to meet him at two Meet&Greets. He was always eager to help newbies, as I was at the time. Jim offered great advice on how to improve my hobbying experience. I was deeply saddened by his passing. One of my ATFs was one of his "wives." We commerated his passing every September 30.
