When I go to the Magnificent Mile area is there any particular Hotels that I should avoid?

Is there favorites that I should book?  I am going to book tomorrow so, any help in advance will be appreciated!

The Marriot Courtyard on Hubbard and State. It's about two blocks west of the Magnificent Mile (Michigan). It has very nice rooms, free high speed internet, and much more reasonably priced than many other places that are right on Michiagn or closer to the Loop.

I don't have any info on places to stay away from.

Is it a good idea to give specific hotel and locations on board? Never know who is lurking.

is my only recommendation!!  Unfortunately, their security is comprised of off-duty PD.
