Did anyone go to the SWOP meeting Friday night for International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers? If so, how was it? I really wanted to attend but couldn't make it.
I REALLY wanted to go and actually planned my trip around the date so I could attend. MY problem was getting from OakBrook to the museum and getting back without paying the taxi an arm and a leg. I just couldn't afford it especially since just the cab ride from downtown to OakBrook cost me $80, which was horrible.
In Dallas, they didn't have anything like this. So I sincerely wanted to go!!!
I will look forward to hearing what others have to say about this. It was supposedly a yearly event and also a very special one as well!
