Okay mini-rant here.
I'm officially switching over to only trying to book same day appointments. I don't know if I have had bad luck lately but all appointments that I've booked in advance have either gotten canceled or postponed to an alternate date. And before someone says "well if you pick the right providers..." I've done my research and read reviews.
Just grumpy, since I just got the news that my afternooner got canceled for tomorrow.
Bah!
It is the ladies you are picking. lol
I've been there and I know the feeling. There was a rut where I experienced two last minute cancels and a NSNC in a 2 week span. All the ladies were highly regarded at the time.
Just keep plugging away. If they don't want to take your money, someone else will.
Be a mixed blessing. May both our luck change for the better.

This might be common knowledge, but its a good idea to keep in contact with your lady. If you schedule more than a few days out, make sure you follow up the morning before to make sure your appointmement is still confirmed, which might still give you time to make other arrangements if needed. If you need to, send a few confirmation emails spanning every few days to confirm the appointment. Although its quite thorough, it might combat the problems you are running into.
Another alternative is to get prescreened by a few ladies on your radar so when you get the itch, same day meetings are a breeze.
Or local ones?
If touring ladies are what you're talking about, I've found that many women are canceling their NYC tours because of few pre-bookings, or finding out from other providers that it has been very slow here (economy, summer, etc.).
With the fixed costs of a NYC tour being prohibitively expensive (airfare, hotel rooms being extremely cheap and usually really shitty at $300/night, and the overall cost of living just to eat and drink here), most women find that the first appointment every day is usually done for free just to cover costs.
Add in the fact that they need to do business and therefore can't afford to go outside and enjoy the city, and it makes for a very miserable time, especially if you find out that the trip cost you money.
I've had two providers from MN cancel on me last minute (one did so twice).
Just curious if this is your experience, or whether it's with local girls.
Thanks for the response, but more importantly, sorry about your experience.
I am based in London and so I hold in mind things may well be different here.
I respond well to advance bookings because I have another profession and generally also a good high demand for dates and so I think last minute would not work with me or with any "good girl" in London. Some would say that girls available for last minute dates may not be as busy because perhaps not the same caliber (I am not saying, just quoting what other have said). Could this apply to NYC too?
Was there 2 weeks ago btw, and looooved it ![]()

There's a whole range of "affordable luxury" women that used to command $500+ an hour when the economy was great that really can't command that now. It's like some girls are Louis Vuitton and Prada, and other girls are Coach. When everyone has money to drop, Coach can go up in price, I guess. But Louis Vuitton and Prada don't discount, and they never need to.
You might be the LV of providers. I haven't seen you, so I don't know. But there are some providers that I would put into the Coach category, you know?
always keep in touch with the gentlemen prior to meeting. I understand our time is important to all of us. When I get a request whether in NYC or touring I make sure I am available that day and time before confirming. I email a few times (depending how much in advance) just to show the gentlemen that all is still as planned. Believe me I value your time just as I value my own ![]()
Lots of kisses!
It has a lot to do with organization. I've learned that I need a hand written and electronic reminder for Pre books. It works for me because I'm a traveling lady. If I say I'm going to meet you next Thursday at 4pm, you better be expecting to be deep in me next Thursday by 4:15. Professionalism, respect for time, honesty and organization play a large role in a successful scheduling. Shit happens, but if it's consistent canceling you may want to rethink your approach with the women.
I would venture to say that the further out an appointment is booked, the higher the percentage of cancellations. I would say that on average, an appointment booked a day in advance has a 60-70% chance of happening. It goes down from there tp the point where anything booked 4-7 days in advance has a 70% or higher chance of cancelling and over 7 days is over 90% chance of cancelling. Same day appointments have close to 100%chance of going down.
Much of this has to do with this fast paced life we live in which makes it difficult to predict what might or might not come up from day to day or week to week. Also, I suspect that guys who for one reason or other over book with more than one provider and then make the decision on who they are gonna see when the day comes n cancel the others.
But never fear Booger.... we are here to pick up the slack for ya....as you already know and you can count on a great time when we do.... :-0))

I have had the same experience on occasion, but not often. I find that my schedule is crazy enough that advance booking does not work very well for me. Although there are certain ladies who will only accept advance bookings.

Not that I'm glad to hear you too are having trouble, but it has been a challenge for me to set up appointments as well the last 3-4 weeks. I'm really new to this, first go around in Vegas just 2 months ago, so I thought maybe I was doing something wrong!
My experience in Vegas was smooth as can be, and I set those appointments up not even a week before heading out. But its been a struggle with a few of the top ladies here in Chicago. I've done my research and read reviews as well, and followed their instructions per their websites, but so far it hasn't worked out.
I chalked it up to it being summertime, crazy busy schedules, vacations etc. (I get that they have lives outside of this, I'm not trying to disparage anyone).
Glad you brought it up, I was about to bail on trying anymore here in Chicago and just save it for Vegas as I head out there with the guys 3-4 times a year. But maybe I'll give it another shot.
HDDOC, you do make a great point, I just ordered a pair of Maui Jim's I've had my eye on since I broke my current pair in half last week!
