I hate when this happens

I had an experience last week that I wanted to share.  I had tried to meet a long time provider on a few occasions and we couldn't work it out.  I'd sent a few emails that went unanswered recently then she responded out of the blue that she would love to see me.  We set a time for the next day.  She confirmed my RS2K, confirmed the meeting the morning of, confirmed the location and that she was ready 2 hours prior.  I arrive and let her know.....radio silence.  Another phone call, message, text, email.  Nothing.

Needless to say 30 mins there, 30 min wait, 30 min drive back, what a waste.  This provider is well reviewed and I expected better.  I understand that things happen but I still haven't heard anything from her 3 days later.  It's too bad that some don't have the ability to show basic respect.  Live and learn.

That almost exact situation has happened to me twice, with one big exception. Both times i was coming in from out of town, making it more very expensive in addition to inconvenient.

I contacted both by email and was polite but asked what happened and explained how it screwed me. One just said sorry she fell asleep. (OK then, never again with you.) The other was so mortified at what she had done, she gave me a dinner date and overnight at no charge. (Holy shit! That;s making it right!)  

 I continue to see the second provider.

If she hasn't contacted you or you can contact her then it's best to find another Provider.

I can't remember the countless hours I've spent driving around intersections, hanging out at coffee shops or public places waiting on providers to get back to me with their location. I don't see BP girls, they were all well-reviewed TER providers. Lest they take pot shots at me, I chose not to reveal their identities but trust me, you're not alone in how thoughtless some can be. They're usually the first ones to complain when they get stood up.

Hell, I don't even have an interest in knowing who she is...

We get stood up a LOT more than you do.
And while you lose the opportunity for orgasm, we lose money, sometimes rent money, bill money and occasionally the opportunity to fill that time with someone who would have seen us and paid.
So, yeah, some girls are "thoughtless" when it comes to this sort of thing, but as my own number of NCNS rises, us girls are getting the shorter end of the deal here when we can have ten appointments booked and only 5 or 6 come through.

I agree with you. There have been quite a few NCNS with my Provider. Usually new Clients. Even some of her long time Regs NCNS. Some days she gets no appointments at all. Except for me. She's lucky to even see 4 Clients a week.

If you really appreciate her as much as you say you do, then you would be recommending her to others instead of keeping her all to yourself.  Then maybe she'd be getting more business and wouldn't have to rely on only you to "support" her.  That is of course assuming she even exists.  It's gotten to the point now where you've become a boorish broken record.

You work a lot more than we hobby. Percentage wise, you should expect more NCNS's than hobbyists because you're "active" more than we are. Well, at least those of us guys who aren't self-proclaimed sluts, LOL.

Related question: How many times per month would a hobbyist hobby to be considered a slut?

You assume that we do, but, I had one week where every single booking I had was cancelled at the last minute. We're not all high volume and we don't all advertise enough to have constant calls, but, regardless, cancellations hurt, financially, every girl. You can just move on to another girl. We can't always get that business back, and for those who use this as their only source of income, that can cause major problems.

You work a lot more than we hobby. Percentage wise, you should expect more NCNS's than hobbyists because you're "active" more than we are. Well, at least those of us guys who aren't self-proclaimed sluts, LOL.  
   
 Related question: How many times per month would a hobbyist hobby to be considered a slut?

There is a difference between cancellations and NCNS. Cancellations are inevitable but NCNS shouldn't be. NCNS is generally the result of not caring about the other persons time or getting cold feet at the last minute. Both of these are unfair to the other person but it happens, especially if there's s sudden LE concern by one party. Cancelling at the last minute is not NCNS if the guy calls you and informs you he can't make it. NCNS is when he doesn't call and fails to show. They both suck for the provider but I just wanted to be clear on the difference.

As a provider, I do know the difference, but they both hurt financially so I put them together. Either way, I'm not getting paid.

My point was not that the appointment was cancelled.  I understand, shit happens.  It's happened to me as well.  My frustration was that there was NO communication.  If she'd have called or texted that something came up, no problem.  But to let someone waste the better part of an afternoon after confirming that all is a go 2 hours prior is just plain thoughtless and selfish.  It's not that hard to say "hey, I'm sorry, something came up".

Cancellations are inevitable.  NCNS should never be.

Cancellations happen, yes, and I appreciate the men that give ample notice when they can't follow through on plans. My issue is mostly with those men who seem to think cancellations hurt them more than us. As a very low volume provider, I can assure you, just one cancellation/NCNS is a decent part of my income gone.

Cancellations do hurt the provider far more than the hobbyist. You have a lot more of a vested interest in the outcome than we do.

Lack of communication is the main difference with NCNS. When a provider does this, she apparently doesn't care that she's losing the money or something truly serious came up where she has no choice but to lose the money. In some cases, she got a better offer and blew off the original appointment. We all hate admitting this happens but we know it does. When I'm NCNS'd, I tend not to care much because I rarely plan my day around the hobby. It's an end of the day event and if it gets cancelled, no big deal. If it's a middle of the day event and she NCNS's after I took time off work, then I care a lot. In either case, I go home with money in my pocket so it's not a total loss other than some time being wasted. There's always porn :-)
