Thanks Sage for asking! I kept my schedule work free for the long weekend to enjoy time for myself, friends and family. I got in a couple bike rides at the lake, headed out on the water sailing with friends, an afternoon at the botanical gardens, dinners & cook outs. Some time in WI for a concert and resort time. Fourth of July is great at my place as I have roof top city views that allow for watching fireworks in every direction of the city. A fully packed schedule, very typical of me. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday! Alyssa

I usually don't do much of anything but this year I actually grilled out and had a rather large diet busting(must jump back on the wagon!!) buffet of foods and Mike's to drink. Then went to the fireworks and saw a pretty impressive display. I haven't gone in the past 3 or so years so I was impressed that they seem to have stepped it up. But then they do raise taxes every year so they sure should... Then my neighbors had gotten some pretty cool fireworks to light off so I watched those too(they were skybound ones not the little shooting out of the ground ones). Then I still wanted more boom boom so I took matters into my own hands and created another impressive fireworks display... YUM
Oh and on the 3rd I watched the new Independence Day movie, so yeah.
