I have hobbyied for about 10 years, and have traveled all over the states seeking new friends, and exploring new cities that my otherwise country existence would have never taken me. In all the years, one town I never saw was Chicago.

I would hear glowing reviews about the food(which is true), history, and most of all the hobby. This place has great local boards with a good screening systems, and the ladies and gents I met from here are so nice. BUT...this is my 2nd trip here, and I think it is worse than my 1st and it wasn't good either.

When I met clients from Chicago, they were so nice and would tell me over and over again that I needed to visit, and I finally do, and I am not enjoying myself. I am getting almost no calls, and when I do, I get calls like am I real(um, I have hundreds of reviews on many national boards so yeah), are your pics of you(um yeah, I did them myself and they span over the years of when I have been doing this), hang ups, etc. I don't get it?!?! This has always been my perception to be a fine, educated city with great hobbying, and I am itching to pack my bags and go home to those gents to remind myself why I love doing this cause that is not how I feel right at the moment.

Maybe I am advertising wrong, or maybe it is something I said cause I am absolutely clueless cause when I look there are a bunch of beautiful ladies heading into town so I know this place is not dead, but in my opinion, I never want to venture up north ever again, and I have a lot of ladies that ask me the places to go...I am having a hard time wanting to gush about here.

If I am completely doing or saying something wrong that is somehow turning the company off, please enlighten me cause while I am sitting here bored, I am confused as to the silence or weirdness I am experiencing. You know what makes this even more sad...I stepped out of retirement for this! *shaking head*

My guess is that what the other poster said is true: weather, post holiday belt tightening, flu, etc is all working against you.  

Another visiting lady may have had a similar or, completely 180 degrees from yours, who knows...

Sorry it hasn't been a good visit, perhaps the next will be better.

I express the following as my opinion only.  Not pertains to you but to provider websites in general.

A provider website is like reviewing a job resume where I have hundreds of applicants. You have only a few seconds of my time before I move on.  I am not impressed with your knowledge of website design or slick Flash pages nor your MUSIC.  I don't want to read War and Peace when I visit your website. What I want to know quickly...

1. How you look
2. What do you enjoy
3. What is the donation for your time
4. Where you are
5. Do you have reviews

If I have to search for the above, I move on quickly.

Finally, let's talk about cost. This is like any other commodity.  The supply and demand curve is a normal bell distribution curve. One one end, there are those hobbyists that won't pay your donation regardless of price. On the other end, there are those that will pay any price. The majority are those in the middle. You have to determine what price the middle is willing to pay. If you are at the high end of the spectrum, then advertising to those in the middle won't get you much business. You need to tailor your message to those that are willing to pay your rates.

I'm on all the local sites at least once a day, but this is the first I've heard if you.

Location is number one on my list. If a provider is only seeing clients downtown, and not going to O'Hare or Oakbrook, then she is eliminating a large group of hobbyists right off the bat. The cost for a suburbanite to hobby in the city is prohibitive. There is more money in the hands of downtown clients, but that doesn't mean that money will wind up in the hands of visitors. My suggestion to any provider coming to town, is to split her time between the city and the suburbs or this will continue to happen. This has been mentioned many times on this board over the past ten years, and it shouldn't surprise anyone.

Harder to check back as your ads are placed by LeVIPCollection. But the ad does not say in what part of Chicagoland you will be staying. My guess is downtown only, and that limits who will contact you. It always does.

Your rates aren't under costs or specials, but under travel schedule (at least on the site I see). I already saw your TER ad so I know when you'll be here. Why would I look on your travel schedule.

Yes, I know the rates may vary by city, but you can still put them in one, easy to find, place

Also, the time since your last review, while understandable,  reduces you reliability concerning whether the hobbyist is hiring the old you, or someone or something else.

I am going to answer everyone's concern as best I can. You are right that I don't have any reviews since 2010, but it is because I am retired and only come out when I get a chance. The reason is I moved from Denver and getting there was difficult, and my grandparents are not doing well so I take care of them pretty regularly. Getting away is due to business that I have to conduct in different cities so I figure, why not play while I can. I will however say that since I began, I have ALWAYS maintained a stellar status because I am damn proud of what I do...I know of no other lady like me that has no gag reflex, and I love the fact that I have that special ability. I love it, my clients that have repetitive reviews about it know that too, and know that won't change. If you are still paranoid...nothing I can do about that...not my loss just more joy for someone who isn't. : )

Now for my website, this is actually the simplest site that I have designed and was catered to be short and sweet. The rates, as explained on my site, are set according to the city taht I go to. No place is the same...that is why it is only on the visiting. I advertised everywhere, but RS2k and Eros, and that was because I just didn't have the time to dedicate getting them up.

Location...last time I was here, I was at O'Hare and nothing. So this time I stayed downtown thinking that was better, and again nothing. I was told by ladies that those two places are where to go...didn't see different until now, and I try to do my homework. I have learned in the past not doing that can cost you. : ) I also have no issue going outcall to people's hotels either, but I don't know this area well and don't want to get stuck somwhere dangerous and I know there are places like that.

I know I am not a model, but my pics are accurate and of me as I want people to know who to expect...a curvaceous, playful lady that loves to have fun. I am that simple! I set my rate around the fact of my skills and knowledge, and the fact that I know I am not a dog. : ) If it is too much for some, or too little...well, beggars can't be choosers as my momma always said!

Ladies, I do wish you well and hope things pick up...me, I am leaving Sunday and going to another city that is anxiously awaiting my arrival. Well, and there is more work to be done there too. Gotta love running a company! If I see anyone, no sob story just fun...others, good luck and safe hobbying!

Of course you may charge differently depending on city.  You say your rates are explained. Have you heard the saying "when you are a hammer, all the world is a nail?"  Doesn't seem you had anyone independently review your website for flow and clarity.

Many people here who were trying to give you useful information have been here for a bit.

*sigh* I thought I was being nice in explaining my reasons, you took it as being defensive. Like I said before, you want to be paranoid and not see, not my loss...yours. When I am done with business, I am going back to retirement. I only came out to have fun, and was merely confused as to the crickets reply. I am honest to a fault, and if you took it that way...I am not going to be able to say anything else to change your perception.

I am making the choice to leave one day early and go somewhere else because well, in all honesty, this does cost me time and money that I work hard to make, and if I am making nothing, but another city will provide me with 3x that amount for my loss...why would I stay. I am a business woman with a company, and if I conducted my business by sitting around with a client that doesn't pay me, my company would fail. That's business. You want to call that being defensive, fine, but I call it being savvy and smart. I learned a long time ago in this industry that visiting is really tough, and you need a tough skin to survive...I did, and made my self successful through it, but I went through hell and back to get there. This trip is no exception...I learned what I did wrong, and won;t make that mistake again. Now, I am moving onto new ventures on Sunday. Maybe you consider that cold, how I see it is there is a client ecstatic I have come out and looking forward to his next sliver of time with me. I am going to look forward to seeing old friends, and if new ones come along...I will enjoy that too!

There was no need for you to answer our concerns.  No one said this was why he in fact had not booked with you.  

I don't think anyone on this thread was trying to attack you.  I certainly was not. You asked  for possible reasons why your ad wasn't getting the desired response.  Several members of the Chicago TER community took your question seriously.  We either -again or for the first time - looked at your ad, your review history and your website and came up with possible (we can only speak for ourselves) guesses, including just bad luck.  

No one said anything bad about your reputation, skills or looks.  A couple of us did not like your website design.  That's hardly a personal insult.  No one is criticizing your life decisions.  The review gap is a negative factor for some guys, however justified it absolutely may be in the context of your life.  For this group -  or any board on TER,  we were, frankly, very nice.

You asked a question.  You got some answers which may or may not have had anything to do with your difficulty.  You now seem to be offended even more.

I wish you well on your visits to other cities, and, if you decide to visit us here again, hope you have more success.

Are you staying in the city (Chicago) or suburbs.  Sometimes you might just be in the wrong area.

Did you post on Eros, backpage, etc?  Also sometimes it depends on if you are in the city (and what area of the city), or which suburb.  SOme parts of the city are better than others.  Some suburbs are better than others.

Also it was below 0 twice this week.  I went to a restaurant and there was no one in there.  I was told it was like that all day - that was the day it was 15 below 0.  No one wants to go outside when its like that.  Hopefully it will get better when it warms up a bit.

Post on Eros, or Backpage.

She might have just retired or took a break for a few years.  When she posts new ads she needs to mention that as it will explain the disappearance for 2 years.

One thing to do that helps is on TER post the ad sites so people can see the recent ads.  If you have a post on eros or backpage let us know so we cna have it posted.

hopefully you are able to have some fun here and hopefully when the weather gets a bit better you are able to do more.  Try to enjoy a few nice restaurants or pizza places (which Chicago is known for) while you are out here.  post the Eros or backpage ads as thay might help.

The freezing cold weather this week probally had something to do with it. People are less likely to go out in this weather.  When it is 30+ degrees out then more people go out.

We have great local talent, AND, some real superstar visitors..you sound nice, I am sure you are intelligent, but you have just average scores on TER... free market capitalistic hobbying is buyer beware

Totally agree... It is impossible from your site to figure out your rates.

Gisele, there are four things that come to mind:

1) Rate location - although I was able to find them by clicking on the city you're visiting, it might be better to put them on the 'How Much' page.
2) When you come to Chicago, there are basically 4 strategic locations you can stay in; Downtown, O'Hare, Oakbrook and Schaumburg. Look at them on a map. In your ad post you should specify which of these locations you'll be staying otherwise guys will move to the next ad like I did.
3) Stop saying in your posts and website that you are retired. You might not be working as often as before but you are not retired. This probably turned some guys off too.
4) Many guys will not risk $400 for someone with no reviews in over 2 years. You might want to consider giving a break on your rate to a couple guys in order to get some fresh reviews.

I see a number of ads that indicate that the provider is posting a day before they arrive, or in some cases the day they arrive.  I would think place an ad should be placed a couple three weeks prior to you arrival.

Some of us do not not have the freedom to book a session on such short notice.

Let me correct you on something. My post I put on here in the ad board under the Discussion Board under Chicago does simply state where I am located(downtown), my rates($260 an hour, NOT $400), and it doesn't say I am retired. You boys say you couldn't find my post...well, it is right there and was on the first page until yesterday. I have been doing this awhile and I do know what you all look for so don't question my intelligence with asinine answers that are and still are right there in front of your face.

I tried to be nice, explain what I saw and my reasons, it was taken wrong in the manner of an attack which was not the case. All in all, at this point, I don't care anymore-leaving tomorrow. Have a nice weekend!

You don't have any reviews in the last two years, and the ones you do have are all over the map.  All the 6s and 7s say to me you are spectacularly unspectacular.

I am new to touring and noticed that some trips are just not the same as others. It could be the time of the year if there other events are going on, many other girls travelling there at the same time, or even financially related such as around the holidays or after tax refunds.

My mentor who has been touring for 15 years told me that the key is to be consistent. Don't give up.  Try to visit a certain city the same time each month or every other month. Develop regulars. Notify them ahead of time. Just because one trip is good, the second not as good, the third may be awesome. I visit Chicago, DC, Boston and NY. I travel every other week. When I am in one city, I will already have my plans for the return there, and I will gently remind my new friends that I will be returning on such and such date.  She also said that some cities are just not for you (not meaning you personally, but you know what I mean). She said that after a few visits, if its not working out, try another city. You will find your niche and when you do, you will know it.

You jump on the case of a well respected hobbyist saying that your donation is $260. You do speak of retirement on your site. There is no clear donation on your "How Much" website page. You then post what your donation is on the given city tab. ($300)...you then show specials tab offering a 10% or 20% discount. Somehow I have no clue how your donation is $260 with your stated discounts.

Word of advice, though you are a highly seasoned professional.  Attitude goes a long way. In my opinion, yours needs improvement.

ladies my other two provider girlfriends told me to go to Indianapolis,  they lack good providers and choices and my two gf made a killing. Sometime a area of less competition is better. I always made great money in george town dc area. Also farmington hills michigan, grand rapids is you can offer lower rates, Vegas was terrible and too much competition but Boston is always great and has guys who dont mind paying 300 350 midwest guys tend to be a little more broke due to our economy I think. So need to lower rates unfortunately and offer more for the buck to get that target market of mid western income. Or stick to cally and places where you know guys are super rich and can afford to hobby often. Also ladies if you do not have your own website do not be afraid to have me make one for you. Mine is very cute and I love to make them for you as well. only 300 for hosting domain and your name at .com or .net quick tun around!! this helped me about 40 percent increase in work where ever I go guys think your very serious and care more when they see the extra mile taken to describe your personality likes and fetishes. You have to create this picture with your website describing an experience and it has to be believable with your pictures presence reviews and most important perceived value has to over ride the price. You can charge 400 and hour and see two clients on a tour or for example charge 280 get a price line room not so expensive and see 8 clients so it may work better to change and vary your pricing based on the city and its average income. Thats what I have learned and been in this business for like 8 years now i started in boston and worked for a few agencies all over.

having no review for a year or so means the lady probably had a bf and didnt work for a while that should not be a flag of any kind just means she took a break from the business. I have done this many times over 8 years deleted my profile and then started a new one when I was not with my exclusive man. But I guess I do not get why its hard for a guy to trust that if a girl use to be good she should still have that in her. I think anyway!

I retired for 4 years and came back and finally got a review but thankfully my regulars are still around.  It is crazy how non trusting people are and yes it is the same me with 17 pages of reviews.  God forbid you take off to find your significant other persue another career and have a baby.  Everyone thinks all negative like you have been in prison etc.. etc... etc..  

She has plenty of reviews so someone TOFTT and go see her so you can update her reviews!  Quite simple guys!
