I know SOMETIMES when I post an ad WITH A WEEKLY SPECIAL on the Chicago Board it sometimes gets lost amongst the multitudes of other ads.  Then I get a call or email, a week later, asking if I ever offer specials or saying that they missed my special.  Frustrating, I am sure, for the guys who may be on a tight budget and seeking someone who is offering a deal.

What would you think about a post, weekly, on the Chicago Ad Board that says "Weekly TER Specials for period xxx thru xxx"

Ladies who are offering a special that week can post a short blurb, not a full blown ad, and refer the guys to their ad.  Of course, this special would be for TER members WHO MENTION THE AD.

This way guys would have a one stop shopping source for specials.  And, if money is not an object, they can still find regular ads on the board.

and the Mod was all for it but read the thread it did not go over .....I was told  just to go back to my ad {which  was already buried down} and respond to my own with special or put  it  in subject matter line  both options were not that great.....let me know what you come up with we do have that option on a smaller review board called Daily  specials we have even had a bidding auction action going on it was quite funny pm  me if you want to check it out!  Its does seem there should be a way to let clients know if your day just opened up or you felt super horney  and wanted to get some action quickly.....cannot wait to get back to  the windy city see you next  yr....

read each message carefully! I haven't missed seeing any of your recent posts where you stated that there was a $50 off special.. The hobbyist need to use their eyes and their brains.. it aint the ladies fault..

I like Sin's idea.  I like some providers that maintain a mailing list and inform member of specials.

Its not about whether weekly specials are good, bad, or sufficient.  Its about a thread on the ad board so that any lady can reply to it with her special, if she has one, and the guys can go to one spot to read specials for the week.  It won't count as the lady's ad.

The weekly post would be titled something like:

Ladies offering SPECIALS to TER members for the week of xxx through xxx:

And the ladies would reply to the post.

So it probably wont happen.

LMAO so true  change is slow to come sometimes  but I think its a great idea try going right to TER feedback  and summit it there please ...I am try to make a small change myself on  TER books site  to includes movies also

I misunderstood at first too which is why I didn't say anything but that sounds like a good idea.

The search technology exists - so why not something like this: When a user searches/looks up reviews on a certain lady, if she is offering a special, it would pop up in the right hand column (where currently they sell space to cityvibe; and/or, user would get an immediate pm of the special (of course, in order to get a pm, user would have to be a TER member - for the provider, this offers a first line of screening) when he searched/clicked a lady's review. encourages both parties to spend more time with the site - which TER should absolutely love.

I do feel there are so many ads there and men (and women) would benefit from a section pertaining to 'specials only'.

Any ladies who might be having a special that week can post to that thread, without counting as an ad, and post their special with a link to their web site or to their reviews.

Guys, please refrain from commenting to this thread and it will stay then stay ads specials only. I think it's a great idea and a big thank you to Sinful for another excellent suggestion. If anyone has an idea to enhance this, please chime in.

This is not a TER hard coded program, just something being done to make it easier for the guys to look in one place for any specials that might be going on in Chicago for the week.

hopefully it can work on other boards too  like PHX? I hope your going to run this by feedback ?

As I have repeatedly said through the years, this is the members board to do what they want with, within reason. If a decision is made and it appears to be good for all, then its my responsibility to put that in place.

If it bends a rule or two so be it. In the end, TER wants their members happy. When I can no longer assist in that, its time for me to leave.
