Read the "About Us" or "Who are we" info of TER. It's initial charter was a clearinghouse for hobbyists. But now you can have providers pulling reviews they don't like, their own portal and the like. I don't consider them second class citizens, but in all due respect, their influence can mute true critiques and the like, imo.
There are a lot of things that are said over and over again that are either accepted as true, or the folks who say them yell and scream so loudly that everyone who disagrees just walks away. I have been making a list, and now shall begin my journey where angels fear to tread.
"TER is for the hobbyists"
This is usually offered to dismiss the opinions, feelings or any consideration for ladies. I am not going to analyze why many guys feel the need to do this (there are professionals for that), but how can anyone pretend it is true?
Ladies post, pay for membership, use the board. In many ways it is more important to them than us. Agencies also use the board and support it. Why and how are they second class citizens?
Seems to me like TER is a resource for the entire hobbying community. And, personally, in case anyone thinks I am just going all touchy feely, free internet, all men are equal on you (and there is some of that, I admit, but this is real world), I would not find TER very interesting or anywhere near as useful if the ladies were not here. So I not only think it is for them, I hope to hell it continues to be for them and does an excellent job supporting them.
Take your shots guys.
More to come,
zig
If all the ladies disappeared from the board, so would big percentage of all the hobbyists. If this were a "men's club" it would be a much smaller club.
I have felt this many times and if mentioned was slammed cause I aman agency just ooking for funds, even though I never do B&S or rip any one off and domy best to make the customers happy if not I try to make it up to them.
Plus saying that many times I fulfill last minute or last second, in many cases appointments.
I am not the only trustworthy agency on here there are a few who have been around for a while but we are like you say second class.
I think you for saying this and i have noticed that more guys are speaking out with true feelings with no fear of what some of the old timers will throw at them and I like it.
I use to look forward to reading the board with all the wierd comments, jokes and the bitching of what goes on in life and for me Ilearned quite a bit reading al th eposts but some of th epeople that did post don't anymore and some girls are afraid to post.
Giselle I give a lot of credit to cause she tells it like it is and says whats on her mind even tho she has been slammed for nothing!
I personally miss the songs and funny you tube links or maybe I'm just not coming here so often anymore either, like quite a few of the ladies.
So to you Ziggy thanks!
Because if the board is just for the guys, someone needs to tell them so they stop cluttering things up, acting like they own the joint!
To be clear, that is not my opinion at all, ladies.
Happy to support your participation, apropo, even if we never have managed to do business. Agencies have their pros and cons as do providers and hobbyists, of course. We all get slammed here at times, so do not feel too special or put upon. As I continue this series, I am sure my turn will come.

and without the providers there would be NO hobbyists. Where the issues crop up come from those hobbyists that have an agenda that doesn't coincide with "popular opinions". But even moreso are those hobbyists that just simply have an agenda (and why they're here is still and always will be something I will never understand) that is to simply create havoc amongst BOTH the guys and gals. And that entire issues extends to other boards on this site as well!
Frankly a fella posted a question yesterday that might have been considered "intrusive", and some let him know that. At the end of his thread he commented that "I will just go back to lurking for another 10 years"....and unfortunately many people on the boards simply lurk so as to avoid a "confrontation". I welcome opinions (hey folks...these are just like assholes..we all have one) as long as there is some credence and support behind them. To simply invoke MY opinion with the sole purpose of "hating" someone, that is simply a childish method of communicating. But that will continue ad nauseum as there are those guys/gals out there that simply can't control themselves.
I definitely find myself NOT agreeing with many of the comments here, and occassionaly I will throw my opinion out there...and at times some have found those comments to be way off base (or insulting), but I have never tried to directly insult anyone that was interested in an adult conversation. And many of these comments have been with ladies that were discussing things going on in their lives that they felt compelled to share on this board.
So...yea this is a HOBBYIST'S board...but it only exists because of the reason that we are hobbyists. And without the gals being allowed...frankly encouraged to participate, this would be as exciting as "watching paint dry".
Should there be people treated as "second class citizens" here? In my opinion...NO! We all share the same concept, but also look at things from very different perspectives. That's what makes life interesting. Let's just keep it civil, even when we don't agree with the other guy/gal.
of myself in crazy situations cause where else can I do REALLY do that so openly and so freely afterall? It is all about ME ME ME gettin my freak on! ![]()
so where is the picture?
like a pic of you tied to a tree??? ![]()
YES! Okay I will post that one SOON!
Good post, Ziggy! I agree that TER is a resource for the "ENTIRE" hobbying community. It's a shame that some treat providers as second-class citizen by using that line, "TER is for the hobbyists", since many providers contribute as much to the TER community as us hobbyists, especially in keeping the hobby safe for all. We're all in this hobby together, as far as I'm concerned.
Personally, I like seeing the providers participating on the various discussion boards. It's a good way of getting to know them. Over the years, a number of providers have peak my interest and I would never have known who they were, if they did not take the initiative to participate on these boards. I certainly would not be on TER very often, if there were no ladies around ...LOL ...since there's only so much intel sharing that you can do with other hobbyists. This place would be boring as hell without the ladies!

Things have changed over the years. Old S.O.B.s like us know that, but not as many of us still haunt this board. I too appreciate the providers presence on this board, especially pic threads.

phony review its ok right cause its a guy who needs free VIP? I don't believe its that easy to have a review remove for whatever reason!
Girls have to have some kind of proof like if its a guy who just a stalker theyhave to show emails and such that he is harrassing them and if its phony good review you still have to prove it!
So if its a bad review its up to the girl to prove it and if its a good review and she wants it removed its in her lap to prove it!
I think you guys should worry more about the number of phony reviews that are going up more so whats coming down!
Where did this idea come from its easy for a lady to get a review removed?
Sorry, I've been in the game long enough to see if someone is just way out of line relative to a review. Equally, I see providers play fast and loose with their data as well. Stating an age on a website where they are clearly 30 years over it, DDD breasts where they are Cs at best, and I could go on. So if a hobbyist sees that deception, his filters will be on from that moment on during the session. If a woman has 30 reviews and 29 of them are 9's, I believe the vast majority will ignore the one 2 review. This isn't about getting a free membership, this is about the accuracy of data and trust me...just like a resume, a hobbyists doesn't simply go on what is written. We do check and crosscheck. Sometimes a woman is on her game, sometimes she isn't, and sometimes the review is off base. But pulling a review and according to current TER info, reviews are simply "fictional accounts for entertainment purposes only" , I don't get it.
Ok I can see that but when you say a provider can have a review pulled down whenever it suits her is not true! Its really hard to get reviews removed by a provider and just cause you don't like the numbers or whats said doesn't matter to admin!
If you want all your reviews pulled down then they will oblige but to have a review removed cause its not good enough or whatever the reason, it doesn't go like that.
