Three ministers, a Baptist, a Methodist and a Presbyterian, and their wives on a missionary trip were killed when their van went off the side of a cliff, and were met at the Gates of Heaven by St. Peter.

The Methodist minister told St. Pete that he was there with his wife to collect his heavenly reward.  St. Pete looked in the book and said that he could not get in because he had a black mark next to his name.  He told the minister that while he never had it, he always dreamed of having money.  In fact, he wanted money so much he married a woman by the name of Penny, and for that he could not get in.  Sadly, the Methodist minister and his wife started walking away.

The Presbyterian minister told St. Pete that he was there with his wife to collect his heavenly reward.  St. Pete looked in the book and said that he could not get in because he had a black mark next to his name.  He told the minister that while he never had it, he always dreamed of having a drink.  In fact, he wanted a drink so much he married a woman by the name of Sherry, and for that he could not get in.  Sadly, the Presbyterian minister and his wife started walking away.

At that time, the Baptist minister elbowed his wife and said, "Come on, Fanny, we might as well leave now."
