Question about credit card payment

I had a provider tell me she accepts credit card payment.  I wonder if other providers accept such payment and if hobbyists use credit cards.  Sounds appealing, but want to see what others think.  Please chime in.

If you want to leave an easy paper trail for anyone to follow, go ahead and use your personal credit card.  I'm sure you won't mind identity theft and/or phony charges in the future either.

Pay with cash or ask if gift cards are accepted.

. . . now that you can get a free tiny credit card reader and free app from squareup.com that plugs into the headphone jack on iPhones and other smartphones.  Fees are pretty cheap at 2.75%.  If I was a provider I would be worried about chargebacks, though.  If I was a guy there is no way I would use anything but a gift card that I purchased with cash.

purchase  with a credit card,  im working on getting paypal -  i think it s a great idea though

Pay Pal will figure out what you are doing and even if they just suspect, they will freeze your account. You can use green Dot cards. Have the gent stop at a Wal Greens and I believe you can pay for the refill pack with a credit card in some locations, but call ahead.

I dont accept credit card payments, however I do accept payments (Money Pac/Green Dot) for my Pre-paid visa card.  The Money Pac is a reload card that you have to buy and give the number of the reload card to load onto my pre-paid card.

Sincerey...
