So here's the thing: I am very new to the hobby, and am only 31, which seems to be on the younger side of what providers generally prefer. I have seen a couple of ladies more than once, simply because I try to be very very cautious. I am not a known entity with the local ladies, though. So I saw an ad for a girl I knew to be safe, and she by chance had traveled to my comfort zone. I decide to call her and ask for an appointment right away, not thinking it would be an issue. She tells me that she has some time right away, and to call her when I get to a location she indicated. I do so, and then she wants to verify me. She asked me for other providers I have seen and their phone numbers, and asks me all sorts of personal information. I understand trying to be cautious, and i absolutely respect a girls right to choose her clients. She asked about my work, and wanted me to have multiple IDs, wanted the name of my employer. I was not real comfortable with all the questions, but I was confident that she wasn't LE, so I went ahead and gave any information that i could. So she says she'll call me back after she calls my other provider to verify me. I wasn't real sure that my other provider would be happy about the verification calls. It's not like i had permission to do that, you know? She calls me back and says that she couldn't verify me, but asks me if i was from Glendale Heights or something, apparently a guy there shares my name, and it sounded like he wasn't exactly welcome. She eventually asks me "You're not a cop, this isn't a sting, right?" I told her of course not, and she said that any money exchanged is for time only, etc. I agree with all that she asks/says, and then she says "OK, I guess I'll risk it. Do you have any condoms?" I say I do not, and she tells me to stop at the gas station. I agree to do so, and she gives me the location but not the room. I get supplies, and it takes me  a few minutes to find the location, and then I call her back to get the room number, and got no answer. I called back like 5 or 6 times to make sure it wasn't a mistake, and finally give up. Should I or could I have done something different to make her comfortable? I actually still would like to see her in the future, how do I approach that? I was just really disappointed it didn't work out, and am afraid that a miss like that will make me let my guard down and I'll end up in the paper. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

it could just have been bad luck.  these pages are full of stories experienced by ALL of us at one time or another getting screwed around.  you might want to try getting roomservice cleared.  that helps with a lot of girls.  generally it really is like riding a horse.  just get back up and try again.  

if you stick to reviewed women exclusively at first  you wil prettymuch insure not walking into a sting.  also, you will start to develop that extra sense that will allow you to take chances now and then on new girls or unknown ones.

Well you did everything she asked you to do and she basically faked you out!!  She wasted your time obviously so I am not sure I would waste time trying to still see her.  I mean you did ALL that she requested of you and you followed all of her rules!  Now true something could have come up last minute with her.

Now like the other said joining rs2k would be a great thing to do.  The other sites you could join is preferred411 and datecheck.  Those sites will help with making us girls feel more comfortable.

Yes RS2K is your best bet.  If they need to do every thing that she did to verify you it's not worth the risk IMO, you gotta worry about yourself no matter how nice the girl looks.  There are plenty of great women that use RS2K that won't disappoint.
