As you are doing your research, how do you rank the following scenarios in terms of selecting your eventual date.


a. Her reviews avg a 7 for looks but a 10 for performance

b. Her reviews avg a 10 for looks but a 7 for performance.

c. This hottie has no reviews but has drawn a lot of interest from her postings on the board.

d. Your last choice, super hot, no reviews, and very little info on her. But she is smoking hot.


As we have a bunch of new board members, I thought it would be interesting to see how this question gets answered. Unlike Sinful, I am not compiling your responses. Just hit reply and say your piece.

As a very new hobbyist ( 4 providers so far ), I tend to really dwell on performance looking at what she does and doesn't do. Looks a very close second. Very tempted by C & D options but risk of disappointment & LE keep me away....so far

depending on how interesting I found her posts, and very little chance of D. Too much chance of LE, bait & switch, or old photos. Too much to lose including limited hobbying funds.

I want some banging sex, so that trumps looks imo.

$350.00, to include parking fees, gifts, dinner/ drinks, etc?  Is this a CL special we're talking about here?  When are you going to have time for dinner/drinks when you've got to get your 2 pops in for the hour (or less) for which you paid?

Foody likes to do his homework and find someone that matches his interests and then enjoy myself.

A 7 for performance would not get my dough.  My guess is that with most looks ratings being slightly inflated anyway, the 7 for looks would concern me as well.

If I don't know the lady, I'm not spending $3.5 without some stellar reviews and positive feedback from hobbyists I know and respect.

I try and do my homework prior to spending my time and $$$ on a lady.  Averaging only a 7 on looks would raise my eyebrows a tad, but the in depth analysis might overcome that with 10's in performance.  The ladies I have rated as 10's in my reviews are based on my perceptions only, and I have yet to see a lady with 10's on every review..and if she is only a 7 on performance that would again raise my eyebrows.  But I look for specific things on both the looks and the performances.  As far as no reviews...then I take a pass no matter the pics..as is evidenced on another thread here it could very well be a phony pic.

It is great when they are hot as hell. But it is better when they just go crazy. A great performance makes them look  that much better.

The economy has put the pinch on many of us, so waiting for what you want or know to be worth time/money/effort is a guiding factor.

got to have min of 15-20 reviews, avg 8.15+ (my SO's avg) on both looks and perf combined.  But perf gets the much higher rating.  She can look like Bo Derek (oh, am I dating myself here...), but w/o performance, it don't mean a thing.  Oh, yeah, sundries like parking, travel do not get budgeted in, or else you are down to $300 ladies, If I want to go to dinner, then a 5hr date is what I'm looking for

I'd go with B. Simply put, I'm not anywhere near the viagra group and looks/chemistry is needed for ME to perform. If a lady's a seven in looks, she would have to be a spectacular seven and for chemistry to exist that trumps this rating. Performance sevens, especially when the lady has consistent ratings and several eights, might mean it's a massage as others have said, or it could be a lady that has a CBJ rule (and I don't mind those). And, I can always hope that I can develop enough chemistry with the lady that my experience will be that much better. So, for me, if I can't gauge a lady's personality beforehand the looks are important. Personality trumps looks for me, but there's very few instances in this hobby where you can find out if the chemistry works without showing up.

So, my rankings are in this order:

B - for the reasons above
A - some reviews are better than no reviews
C - personality is important to me, so in lieu of reviews if the lady's been on the boards and actively participating for a while, I highly doubt LE would write the equivalent of 10,000 words to snare a few hobbyists. Also, interest on the board often means some mini reviews or at least someone willing to come out and say 'yes, I did see her and she's legit.'
D - I would never do this. I value my life and freedom more.

Keep looking or fall back on your regulars.

My choice is A all the way. While I have made the C choice a couple of times, it never worked out that well. And D is for dumb in my opinion.

For $350, I'm not seeing any provider that falls into one of these categories.

Reviews are great but I honestly believe in the whole YMMV concept.  My profile has a few inconsistancies which just goes to show it's a matter of chemistry regardless of previous reviews... you may encounter someone that floats your boat or doesn't regardless of how good your scores or how established you are.

Typically with an established provider you know what to expect, but on the flip side you may or may not click.

My short answer is "A", but I tend to overanalyze and came up with more questions, than answers.

What is a "7" in looks?  Is Drew Barrymore (the real actress, not pornstar) a 7?  I don't think she's that attractive, especially compared to Lucy Liu & Cameron Diaz (Charlie's Angels).  I'd rate her a 6 -7 on that scale.  But I wouldn't kick her out of bed either.
And what if she performs like Dru Barrymore the pornstar?

And how do you rate performance?  Do you go by what you get, or how well they do it?  Some said a 7 is just a good massage.  Are they rating massages or the full gamut of possibilities.  If I think a 10 is any and all possibilities, then a GOOD massage is only a 2 at most.  A CBJ w/COF is at least a 3.  As I said, I'm overanalyzing this.  But I think rating performance is twofold.  What you get, along with how well you do it.  And for a 10 she does it all and does it well.
