Cathy was a good friend and it was a pleasure working for her these past 23 years

 
While it's sad what has happened to Cathy regarding her health, her website concept will continue on.

Initially it was to be shut down abruptly and completely, a decision was made and that is no longer the case.  

The website has a little more of an explanation.

It will continue....

The message says that she is terminally ill, and has sold the business.  Very sad news, indeed.

This is very sad to hear (read).  Cathy did wonders for the Chicago hobby community by establishing RS2K.  She was very patient with me when I was signing up for RS2K, and acted more nervous than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.  I also met her many times at Kelly Shannon's and Kwasi's parties.  Very fun and friendly lady.

I hope the time she still has left goes well for her.  She will not be forgotten.
