I posted something on this topic on the GD board.  I just came back from a trip where my room was the outcall location.  I have come to the conclusion that card key operated elevators, and especially floor specific key operated, are just bad news.  If there is no practical way for her to come up, I have to meet her downstairs.  I don't think that's any real risk for me, but it could very well be one for the provider if the camera catches her being escorted up to a room.  Do hotels share information?  They must cooperate with LE if asked to.
Bottom line:  no hotels with restricted access elevators.  I'm not going to put a girl at risk.

to blend in...I don't believe there is a problem with You meeting me in the lobby...I have done this several times...just didn't bring any attention to myself....and as far as the elevator ride...it was a nice make out session as he came up

Unless your date arrived in a Zebra or Leopard print mini-dress, wearing stripper heels, with 4 inch fingernails painted to match their outfit, it should not be a problem.

Business people often meet friends or business associates at their hotels.  Keeping it cool till you make it to the room (as some hotel elevators or occasionally hallways do have cameras) should not put anyone at risk.

Just make sure that your date knows in advance about the keyed elevators.  In some, you cannot even hop into an elevator with other passengers as the key card is specific to your floor.

What you described would be conservative for the AVN awards. I saw some unbelievable outfits - I'll never forget the starlet who walked through the Venetian in a teeny weeny bikini. Every guy in the casino just turned and drooled. No one in Vegas seems to care if a girl goes up the elevator looking like a stripper.

Seven makes a good point for those of us traveling. We should do more research into the places we're staying at so this isn't an issue.

I just returned from a trip to LA...My trendy hotel had a key elevator...I ended up meeting 3 different babes 3 different nights in the hotel bar...same bartender every night [ she was pretty hot too].  We would have a drink...slip up to the room for an hr or so...and in a couple cases returned to the bar [ my lady now looking properly ravished] for a couple more drinks or a bite to eat.  Never a prob.

Sounds like a great "pickup" place. I'm there!
