I must admit that when I first signed up for the service, I thought I would be able to use a unique ID number or a phone number to identify myself as a verified person. Having to still supply your full name and show ID kind of defeats the purpose a bit.

There's a hobbyist who emails providers, confirm the appointments and never show up. He's done it to two of my girl friends, including myself. He uses the same name but different email addresses. I have him listed on the "Do Not See" list on my site and he's the last one listed. Ladies please beware! I have no idea why guys waste our time but it's sickening and stupid.

By the way, he's white listed but that means nothing, after all.

I sorry this has happened to you.  But at some level (and I am not being naive) you have to believe in the general integrity of the system and process, otherwise what's the point?  Sure people can change, folks can have an off day, but if a hobbyist has more than 3 reviews and those that he has reviewed has several reviews, I do put credence in what that person has said.

Sure screen me, but my whitelists do mean something.

I would not go as far to say they mean nothing, but at the same time many women use the WL system as just another reference like an Ok on P411. When I give a WL, it is my GOLDEN seal of approval, meaning the guy did more than merely pay me and not rip me off, or assault me. I will provide a reference to ANYONE who was respectful, but I will not provide a WL to anyone. The two are night and day as far as I am concerned. So, I don't put credit in every woman's white list because as I said, many use it as only a reference system.

Unfortunately some providers give them out like candy canes on Christmas. I'm a bit more particular. I will Never
meet a new client based only on WL info.

Of course a P411 ok is another story and I do give one when asked if basic requirements were met.

I am only verified with rs2k. Do they have a similar "OK" or "white list" feature or is that site purely for verification purposes?

This is why I stopped using RS2K - I don't want providers to have my personal information to use at their whim.
I love her threat about exposing hobbyists - provides me alot of comfort to continue as a client with anyone other than my fave BP girls which whom I've never had an issue.

Are you saying providers never google their mongers? If I use rs2k,
she has my full name, city/state and mobile. If she googled, the first
result is LinkedIn with my employment history. Third or fourth result
is my home address.  Not very safe for me from my perspective if some
one other than her obtained that information like uncle Leo or a would
be pimp.

If you want to play with a certain woman, you have to play by her rules. That is a long accepted rule and practice in the hobby. Just like there's no crying in baseball, there is no crying about screening. If you don't like a certain provider's method, then move along. Once you get acclimated to that, the hobby is a blast.

Just out of curiousity, why would a hobbyist use the term "monger" to describe himself? It almost sounds like self-loathing or something.

I believe the point of all this is that mongers have a choice as to screening. If a girl/agency doesn't use a screening service that you feel safe with -- move on. Lots of fishies in the water.  I prefer p411 - no lack of hotties listed as choices including what's on the menu!!!

Absolutely! If you don't like it, then move on! There are plenty of options, including providers with incredibly limited to zero screening required.

I tried RS2K first based on a recommendation. Perhaps I will give p411 or others a try after a while and see how they compare. For now, I'll stick to just having one verification service and am happy with it.

But having to still provide my full legal name as a screening method even before I meet the girl in person makes me nervous all the time.

P411 is the shits!  I've made contact thru pm (model Austin) or was verified by sweeties such as model material Anastasiya (about to download but drop dead gorgeous at 8 months but that's another story or should I say review) or the beautiful Allyssa. I either contacted the ladies thru pm or provided my code which is unique and was verified. My last name was never part of the screening process.  My email is just for mongering and I have a burner.  I feel protected - at least anonymous to a degree. And that's the way I'd like to keep it!

Thanks for the info! The p411 screening process you described definitely sounds preferable. I'll have to look more into it. And you raised very valid points with your last reply as well. Full name + city (especially for those like me with a unique first and last name) gives someone more than enough info to google and search and find out all types of personal info in seconds.

What's gonna happen when I become the favorite to take over as mayor of the city of chicago?? How many providers will be like, hmmmmmmmm, that funky name sounds reeeaaaaalllyyy familiar, let me search my e-mail! hahaha :) It only takes one.......

I thought ONLY RS2K had your personal info. and the provider never saw it, like with P411? Is this NOT correct?

Yep, that is not correct. Here are the RS2K directions.......

THREE BITS OF INFO TO PROVIDE TO THE PROVIDERS:
1) Please give them your FIRST and LAST NAME! As it appears on your drivers license.
Misspelled names, makes checking membership difficult.

2) Give Current CITY and STATE on your DRIVERS LICENSE OR PHOTO ID / NOT where you work.

3) Provide YOUR CONTACT number
( This must be your current cell number )
This MUST be a number you have registered with us.

With P411, they give it to GINA, and that is it. Provider never knows unless she is one who demands personal info. regardless of prior verification. I would never use a screening site that made me still provide my damn name...I can do that on my own.

Everyone has choices they can make, and since he chooses to use RS2K, that is the method that is used. RS2K has been around longer than anyone else, including P411 and Datecheck, and they do things a certain way for a reason. In Chicago, RS2K is the gold standard. It doesn't deserve the derision or negative posts that it is receiving here today. The person running that site knows the hobby inside/out and this particular community even better. There is no one smarter than this person in the hobby community, and yes I know that for a fact. Consider that Cook County has the MOST dedicated vice unit in the country, and you can then understand why RS2K is so successful. The members are safe. The providers who use it are safe. The only time that changes is when someone doesn't follow protocol and gets pinched for it. Some hobbyists don't take the time to thoroughly check out that girl on Eros who SAYS she is an RS2K provider, and then get the bad news on arrival. Some providers get desperate near the end of a less than successful tour, and take a chance on a sincere sounding person claiming to be a RS2K hobbyist who's info doesn't check out with RS2K. Same friggin result.

As a provider, with the name and city info provided to you, you can check a drivers license on the arrival of the appointment. That is something you can't even do with P411. In Chicago that is more valuable than in other cities, because LE here is more prevalent and determined. Who knows why it's like that in this cash strapped world, when this city is a national leader in violent crimes, but it IS that way.

RS2K hobbyists have no reason at all to complain about anything. They are operating in as safe of a system as there is, and the lifetime membership is extremely reasonable. If they don't like doing things the tried and true way, then go elsewhere. I have both RS2K and P411...and that covers everyone I could ever want to see. I get sick of the complaining about RS2K screening. They can always build up their resumes via the risky Backpage route instead, if they are so determined to be anonymous. Good luck with that.

RS2K is the best investment I ever made.

Did you ever consider a situation where a provider was assaulted outside of her incall and her money, cellphone and computer stolen. She reported the theft to le who didn't due anything ( we all probably can surmise why). The next thing you know you're receiving strange emails that rise to the nature of blackmail. Would providing rs2k credentials to a provider that didn't delete help/hinder you? You can decide if this is a true story or not.

No way in hell I'm giving out my real name or DL to any provider. Like that other guy did, I googled my name and my professional information was the first hit. What an easy way to get blackmailed by some bat shit crazy provider!

Maybe I should go back to the UTR world. Never had a problem with ID checks and all this other bullshit. This is crazy shit, I can't believe guys give out their real identities willingly. P411 all the way for me, it's great over there!

Absolutely, but I'm just saying that it defeats the purpose a little bit because couldn't the same be accomplished with a unique ID number and a phone number? If I give you my RS2K ID number and phone number, and you go check it out and it comes back verified, wouldn't that give you the same security that I am legitimate? Then again, maybe not....... I guess I could get RS2K verified and then give out my ID number and phone number to friends/others that don't want to get verified. Hmmmm...... just seems like such a rare situation to protect against but I can understand it.

Anyways, I have continued to use RS2K because I am self-employed so it just saves me the hassle every time. But I do fully realize how incredibly easy it is to be exposed because of it. It is FAR from ideal.

I don't use the White list for screening, I simply don't feel comfortable doing so.  If I can't see a guy's driver's license and see he is who he claims to be, I have no idea if the TER handle or any other website handle he uses actually belongs to him.  I need real info.  That being said, I will white list a gentleman if he asks and I feel he deserves it. I don't just do it for anyone.

I look at them like a review, completely voluntary.  I have never asked for a whitelist from a provider. I've only had one ask for a review, which I was going to do anyway.

I really don't know what is wrong with people or why they like to waste people's time.

You say the name is white listed but the email addresses are different?  Why would you jump to the conclusion that a hobbyist who clearly impressed a provider enough to be white listed goes on to waste other provider's time?  Since the email address does not match, I would suggest that someone could be masquerading as the hobbyist.

It does a disservice to all to jump to conclusions.  Stick to the facts and don't attack someone who may be entirely innocent.
