Government ID for verification

What are your thoughts about providing government issued ID for verification? Isn’t that too much? Shouldn’t references be enough? I personally don’t do it.

Please share your approach.

I agree.  I also don't provide work information or send verifications pics for the same reason.

It's going to be the same answers that is always given since this post is made on escort  boards constantly for the past 4 or 5 years.

You are going to have some guys saying 'I would never'.

You are going to have some guys saying "I have no problem with it'

If providers didn't stop posting on this board they would say 'What is the issue, if you don't want to do it see someone who's screening does not require it" and also a post or two explaining why we need it.

And me saying:  No matter how much you post trying to sway people from doing it so you don't have to, it won't work.  Find a provider who does not require it and takes references.  Why is it even discussed anymore?

Just curious..Does your agency require it?

Yeah, some agencies require ID.

Sometimes but not often.

I can normally find what is needed without one to verify.

Honestly a lot of patrons who have been accepted originally text and ask if they can just send their ID and linked-in.  And yes, I was surprised too.

But everyone is different and I absolutely respect other Providers screening methods whatever they may be.  And I think others should too.

It's being discussed because this is a discussion board about the hobby.  Just because topics have been brough up before doesn't mean they should never be brought up again.  Here's something else that's been posted on escort boards in the past; if you're not interested in a topic, or if you have nothing of value to add ignore it and move on to something else.

Agree, also there are new board members that don’t know it was discussed before.

It is and a search on all forums just show discussed to death.  Or on twitter.  Or reddit.

With the same responses.  So yes this is a discussion forum but also the search function is your friend.

Most of the time it's posted because people who don't want to verify that way try to get other's to agree in hopes providers see this and change their policy.

So yes this is a discussion forum but also the search function is your friend.
