Hi folks. This past Friday I had a run in with an immersion blender; I now have 4 lacerations and 15 stitches on my right index finger, and am under orders to not use my right hand at all to minimize permanent damage. typing is painfully slow and one handed at the moment. (Needless to say, "get well soon" emails are truly sweet, but I'll be focusing on recovery and won't be checking email at this time.) Assuming no complications, stitches come out next week (first full week of March), so please consider me on very temporary hiatus until I get everything sorted out.

The good news in all of this-my left hand (the functional one) is my masturbating hand.

Great to know you're positive about all of this. I'm sure you're still a lil miffed and probably shocked when it happened. Get well soon and lets all hope you're finger recovers fully and soon.

We all hope your finger gets better.  Yours truly tried to clear a jam from his snowblower only to have it spring when the jam cleared.  Very ugly finger resulted.  I have to be careful how I show the finger to others.
