Awhile back, I decided to put my bio and pic up on one of those "match.com" sites, when there was a free weekend of chatting, etc. One lady apparently liked my stats enough to e-mail me on the site. I sent her a return message, but they are pre-written standard responses. She knew that I had not  plunked down the membership fee, and she laid into me something fierce!!! Man,what a vindictive rant!! I cannot recall everything she threw at me, but it ended with "you ugly dork!!!".

What's with this psycho?? I thought I was in 6th grade again, the recipient of grade-school barbs.  I was going to respond in kind, but I forgot about it and just let her move on to the next dork.

Any insights into this woman's psyche?? I attributed it to her either being drunk, a golddigger, or suffering with Tourette's syndrome........

I'm guessing she's egocentric and 'damaged goods'.   You did the right thing and just moved along.

Normal logical people don't act like that, so don't try to 'understand' it.  Just recognize it for what it is and avoid it whenever you see it...  unless you like drama and being dragged down in life.

before you took the time and energy to get to know her, possibly set up a date, and then find this out?

Who knows what she was thinking, there are a lot of froot loops ut there.  I agree with the above statement, moving on is the best you can do.
