Until this new change in TER board,  my information was private.  I frequently search the Internet to ensure my own privacy. Now I do a search on my e-mail name on yahoo, not the full email address, and my reviews are visible.

Everyone else's info is also visible when you search by e-mail.  There are many interesting people who are hobbyists, who have family websites and other information that come up with their TER reviews when I do a similar search.

Please be advised the change has created an onpeing of the system to besearchable that the log-in information does not protect.

PS I really like the board and it's value in seeking a matching companion. So this is not a shot at them.

Before I get flamed, check out your own search of the e-mail address you use here and you will be suprised by the info that is visible.

One that you use for nothing else. No one should ever use their work email, home email, etc. if they want to be discreet. Hotmail and Yahoo make it very easy to set up a secret account. Hushmail and Safe Mail too.

Could staff please give us the official word on whether this is an unintended bug, or a "new feature"? If it's a bug, the usual appropriate bug info would be appreciated, obviously.

Sure, you can find Thomas Jenkins on Hotmail, yahoo, mail.com and a host of others.... but he doesn't exist... he's my psuedoname... I suggest you get one quick!
