I can't help but notice the large no. of providers who advertise on Eros Chicago who have no published reviews.  Seems odd?

From my understanding if you have no review policy you can not be part of this community.  Although I’m not sure how one completely gets around that.

I realize that many providers have a no review policy.  But how can you advertise on Eros for weeks and never be mentioned on TER?  Sure some of it is the "a no review policy" but some many women seem to be so popular with no reviews?  I guess I am wondering if they are all legitimate.  Any bad experiences?

Just curious, how do you know someone is "popular" if they don't have reviews?  You can know someone LOOKS like they "should" be popular, but what are you basing this assumption on?

Sex workers seem to have a love/hate relationship with reviews, in my experience. It makes sense when you think about it. On one hand, it's a useful marketing tool and on the other hand, someone is "rating" you. I dunno about you but it would probably mess with my head a little.

Almost everybody wants to read a review and most of them wont pull the trigger until they do.  However, almost nobody writes a review.  Think about it.  If a girl gets 1 review a month and she works 6 days a week and sees just 2 guys a day...what percentage of guys took the time to write a review.  As an agency, we are grateful for the guys that trust our reccomendation and respect that our reputation earns that trust.

If you are one of those guys that waits for some reviews before pulling the trigger, you are missing out.  For example, we have a lot of traveling girls that are here for a week at a time and sometimes dont get a review until the second or this trip.  Think about all the guys that had a great time with her long before you even considered it!

I have always been uncomfortable about giving reviews but I also realize many won't see a lady without reviews and reviews help them get more business and raise their rates. If I had a great time, I will write a review. I don't like writing a bad review unless the provider is just not nice and makes it a bad experience with her personality. I have had quiet a few that just weren't that good a time but she was nice-so I don't write a review. Unless its a good one why waste time.

For lack of a better phrase, reviews are a double edged sword. I won't even consider seeing a provider unless she has several reviews. I don't think I am alone in this regards. I don't have nearly the opportunities in this hobby as I would like, so I'd like to have a good idea what I am getting into. TOFTT is not an option, as reviews hedge against a wasted opportunity. However, as SimplyGFE points out above, that may mean I miss someone who is new and without reviews. I'm willing to take that chance as there are far too many ladies who have tons of reviews. So for the provider (or agency), reviews are a critical marketing tool. Though, just like any review, they have to be taken as just a single decision making tool, not the only tool. A lot of time they are used to determine who NOT to see rather than who TO see.

The other side of this is the writing of the review. Myself, I probably write a review 50% of the time. I imagine the reason for lack of review writing here (as with Amazon, YELP, Trip Advisor) is I'm just a lazy ass fat fuck. In addition to that, of the reviews I have written, I have had some negative backlash from the provider. This happened a couple of times. The first time, I mentioned something that was negative physically. This provider is a top provider by all accounts a 9/10 type. I mentioned a physical flaw and was flamed by both phone calls, emails, texts, etc. Strangely, I had a fantastic time with the lady and had seen many times prior to this. So, my honesty in a review damn near spilled into private lives. Not cool. Added to this is the provider has my personal info (as they should, 100% as a screening method), but it does give her the ability to be a problem.

The second time I mentioned in a review that the provider prefers CBJ. Nearly all her reviews stated BBBJ. She told me she asks for reviews to put in BBBJ to get a higher score and she thought that if the hobbyist knew only CBJ, then many would look elsewhere. Hence, the failure of the reviewing system.

So, after my long winded BS, is that reviews are a necessary evil in this business. Though if the gov't gets its way, they will gone before too long anyways.

But yes exactly what Mike said above. People do not write reviews. Only about 1% . Also when you are finished with this type of work the hardest thing to get off the internet are the reviews. Website etc is easy to scrub from the internet. But at some point you end up with a few reviews. Do what others do and post about the person on here and ask others if they have seen her.

I've been in the industry for a while but I only have one review! I can ask every client I see to write me one but that doesn't mean that they will do it regardless of if they say yes to me or not. You could be missing out on someone amazing just because she has no reviews :)
