I would think that reputable providers are much safer to play with then civvie dates. All the providers I have met have been great about safety.

I had similar fears at first.  There's just a point at which you either have to jump in the pool or play golf.  I have only had a problem once.  Turned out to be a rash I picked up from the 3* hotel.  Also, think about it.  If there was an std issue with the woman you are considering and she has lots of recent reviews...dont you think someone might have mentioned it.

What are you, stupid?  Look up the definition of "high risk sex" and being with prostitutes heads the list. 40% of the american population has herpes, chances are that 99% of professional gals do. You can catch that even when everything is covered. DATY with a pro is just asking to catch something. If you hobby, you run a high risk of catching an STD.  Period.

Anyone who states that these ladies are safer than the average civilian isn't being logical.  Sure, many of them get tested regularly, but that means they know AFTER they catch something.  The cause of catching (and spreading) STD's is directly related to the number of partners you have.   Der.

The best way to ease unfounded fears and understand and assess risk is through education-good, solid, information through your doctor or medical specialist.  Once you are armed with the facts about how STI's are transmitted, stats, & symptoms, you will be in a better place to make an informed decision about the choices you make.  

Everyone draws different lines about taking risks in life (this life is no different).  If you have questions about the safety practices of the person you are requesting to see, either find a delicate way to address these concerns with her, or weigh how badly you really want to see that person.  I have never been offended by someone taking their own health seriously.
