Not sure if there's any real correlation between provider prices and the state of the general economy, but have been noticing A LOT of visiting providers asking in the 500 to 1200 per hour range. They must be finding a market for service at this price - or it wouldn't be happening. Thoughts?

There are those who will pay any price in this hobby.  There are those that won't pay any price in this hobby.  Those are the extremes.  The majority are average. But obviously there is a market otherwise these providers wouldn't price at those points.  I think the norm is not changing significantly and that is where you would gauge any change in the economy or at least the dynamics of the hobby.

Seems like rates like that are the norm in Vegas. I always wonder how my dear friend, who tours sometimes and lives in Vegas, works out her touring rates since the rest of the country can't/won't sustain that. But in Vegas....everyone is there to blow their wad.....hahahahah!

But $1200 in Chicago?? Hmmm.....I don't think I could justify that even if I did look like Angelina Jolie. I'm close, but no cigar

I can only surmise that there are some that would pay that, while the majority would not.  Each lady has her own method of determining her break even on a tour, and most will attempt to pre-book and hope for no cancellations.  What I see is that a guy has a certain itch that needs scratching, and for some the cost is immaterial.  

And I wouldn't care about Angelina Jolie, but I am a sucker for petite red heads

Believe it or not, there are a lot of wealthy guys in Chicago (don't look at me). Word travels quickly, lol...

Well a petite red-head that looks a bit like Angelina Jolie?! Mmmm....ok...that's my fantasy I can certainly give you yours since my hair is now redder than red Red-heads do have more fun...lol!
