Does she still live here?

I thought she moved to Cali long ago. Her roots are definitely here, quite popular on the indie scene and then she went commercial pop. Well-written lyrics and she annunciates well in her songs, something more pop stars should do. Too many singers annunciate like Ozzie Osbourne, lol.

My ex had drinks with her at Betty's bar in Wicker Park

before she became famous.  You are, in fact, correct that she moved to LA. She is still a Chicagoan though, right?
