Does proclaiming "TER status" translate into better service?

Fellow colleagues, I have a question and would like your input:

When you see a provider for the first time, along with providing your screening information also disclose that you are a member of TER? Do you also provide your screen handle? As with every provider I believe there is a certain degree of YMMV-however, do you think that providing the TER info translates into better service? (I suppose one would gauge this by personal experience vs. other reviews on the provider submitted).

Providers: does TER status and knowing the handle translate into you giving better service? (feel free to use an alias to respond as I suppose many would like to state for the record that their level of service is independent of this). How many of you, knowing the client's screen handle beforehand, read his reviews?

I will ask for the member name on any site that the person saw me on and it does not mean better service its just another method I use to make sure that person is who they say they are.  Sometimes I will ask for them to send me a message on that site too, but its just to verify the guy thats all.  I ALWAYS give my 110% service wise!  No matter what!  :)

I would avoid telling that because when you review them they can retaliate if your review is not that good.

I agree with the two ladies on this one...
TER is a review site, but also a site to VERIFY that gentlemen are who they say they are.

Reading their reviews & posts shows a little of their personality too. If you read something you are uncomfortable with, then you can choose not to see them- but service should NOT be determined by their TER handle- service should ALWAYS BE 110% (as the "review" aspect goes both ways!)

For providers who state that they accept TER whitelists and/or reviews, why not use it to our advantage? Some providers couldn't care less about our reviews or whitelists so why bother?

My handle is my business only.  I don't tell it to providers because I want to reserve the right to submit a 100% honest review without fear of her (or her pimp, boyfriend, husband, booker, etc..) retaliating.  I've actually had that happen before and ever since then, it's none of anyone's business but mine.
