I am so sick and tired of new directory sites taking or should I say STEALING my pics and/or content in order to "appear" legit. Are they that desperate to get traffic?? Of course they are! I have watermarked my photos with my web address and yet that still didn't do any good. I have now had to write DO NOT USE on all of my gallery photos hoping that would deter them.  

I have emailed them to have them removed, some have complied while others have not. Guess I will take further action being that I own the copyright to my text and photos.  

One in particular went so far as to WRITE some random text for me and link themselves to my reviews, guess they will get clicks any way they can. BLATANTLY SHAMELESS! Trust me when I say I am more than tired of this happening.  

Sorry yall... I needed to vent... Carry on and get ready for this snow.

Find an administrative address for them and also for whomever hosts their site. Send them a DMCA takedown notice. Explanation and sample here

I agree that frustration abounds with crappy sites I want nothing to do with putting my information up, and most of the time their profile data isn't even correct.  I've tried to get Foxy***t to take my profile off their site forever and my lawyer has sent the infamous letter on copy infringement.  Foxy***t added themselves to my profile on TER,  and it is just impossible to get it removed by the directory company.  

In addition to handling subpar 2nd rate directories from stealing our info,  there is the fun activity of unethical providers helping themselves to our content and pictures.  

Thank god the rest of this endeavor is so much darned fun.  The playtime part of this gig more than  makes up for these ridiculous infractions
