I have not discussed this with Soj yet. I want to set the record straight first.

I do not have a rule regarding NCNS posts. Reviews cannot be posted by a user if he does not meet a provider face to face that is site policy.

When a user is NCNS he needs to do his fellow hobbyists the favor of posting about his NCNS on his regional board.

Posting her name or linking to her reviews is fine. Please be able to back up your statements regarding NCNS to some degree.

Posting about a NCNS to get revenge on a provider for whatever reason will not be tolerated.

We get involved in a lot of crap, and sometimes we make mistakes.  Admin is exceedingly fair with us (and I doubt many have made more blunders than I have), but the site maintains protocol.  If I was the mod in question, I would not be offended by that post.

A time-honored tradition in the military and works in business, as well.

We've all got lives that keep us from the boards for protracted periods of time. Sometimes something needs to be quashed immediately, there is not always time to handle things in an ideal manner.

Admin always has my back, and it's reciprocal.

Sojourner7 has been inundated lately with his share of the load.

It was handled immediately by Admin.

I guess we (me included) should cut them some slack.

As far as I am concerned he made a mistake and probably took something I said out of context.

We all make mistakes. I do not expect perfection from the mods.

When he and I talk I will know what happened, we will figure out why it happened and clear any questions up.

Yes, we all make mistakes and in most cases, correcting a person is better done in private. I think it would have been better if you talked to Soj first and allowed him to correct the error himself.

While I've got your attention, why do some regional boards prohibit providers from posting pics in their ads? Why aren't the rules the same across all the regional boards? I feel sorry for the mods who work on multiple boards and have to enforce different rules. Maybe if they're weren't so many variations in the rules, the mods would make fewer mistakes. There's a lot to be said for consistency across the site, something I don't see much of here. Just my 2 cents...
