I have had the same issues in the past. Even if the provider comes down to meet you, the lobby/ desk/security/host knows what is going on and it's embarrassing. It's also too late once you walk in and see a security man standing the and the provider smiles as we walk by. He know damn well what is going on.
In my case, the provider didn't say anything until we walked inside, she was standing outside waiting for me and saving a parking spot. It usually makes them laugh when a man old enough to be their Dad says he is visiting.
They should be upfront and honest, but at the same time, it depends on the rate. If the provider has a 300-400 rate, then she better have a safe secure place with her client's comfort in mind. If she has a place with a doorman, then I feel she should get a room and pay for it, not the client. But if you having an appointment with a 100 provider, then you are taking chances to begin with.
Just my 2 cents worth

My incall is incredibly discrete; it's an apartment with no intercoms, no buzzers, side entry, and it's on the 3rd floor. All of these things were things I thought about before choosing an incall space.
If you're not cool with front desks and intercoms, tell her. There may be ways to circumvent them. If there isn't, I'd suggest renting a hotel room for the session, or having her book a room and then compensating her. I'm always happy to do hotel sessions, but I generally won't pay for the hotel since I have a perfectly good incall space, and would expect to have the hotel paid for if my client deems my incall space wrong for the occasion.
This wasnt in regards to one provider, I guess I was just letting some providers know what I think about and probably a number of other guys, I would guess.
I wouldnt go to the trouble of getting a room, I would just move on to find someone else.
The same theory applies to inviting someone to my apartment. I just wouldn't. Nosey neighbors, etc.
I may need to see Ms. Black as it sound like the kind of discretion that should be thought of for a client.
While I am at it, I would love to see TER define Chicago areas as well. Hate seeing a provider listed as CHICAGO and they are Ohare or 111th st, while I am the far Northside of the city. That is quite a drive.
