For anyone that’s had to pay a deposit, what method do most providers use! I don’t like Venmo because to link it to your bank account they require you to get their credit card. Do many providers take PayPal?

but, I have left deposits with PayPal and CashApp.

I prefer PayPal Credit, because the transaction does not show up in my bank statement, and there's very little chance anyone is going to be reviewing my PayPal transaction history.

I don't like CashApp for similar reasons to your objections over Venmo (a little too visible for me).

Seems like different providers use different methods - Cashapp, Google Pay, Apple Pay, venmo, zelle, etc..     Then there are fees that come with some of them.   If they don't have fees, they will.   Curious if Gift Cards are still an option for payment?

Many providers utilize cash app, venmo  giftcards or even Bitcoin (though some are rethinking the latter due to the market) I've even seen a some whom accept p411 or tryst points as an option - which is a fab idea for those that heavily rely on on those ad sites.

Paypal is known for being the most SW unfriendly out of the bunch, so provider's tend to be wary of using Paypal.

Yes.  I can see how PayPal could be problematic for SW.

The one time I used it, it was with a provider who's name I knew IRL.

I've been a P411 member for years and just learned about their points and how it works.   If you request an Okay, the provider also earns points too.

I discovered a provider I want to see who takes Amazon gift cards. I assume you buy the card then you give them the number on the back. That would work since it doesn't link to a CC or bank account.

I've sent deposits with Amazon gift cards to the provider's email.

I used to pay deposits that way.

Pay cash for Amazon gc, email pic of back of card to provider, they load it on their account, they send confirmation of deposit received.

Worked like a charm with no paper trail to my identity.

The only downside is the method of how they return the deposit back to you if that situation arises. Make sure BEFORE you send the deposit that the method of how they want to return it to you is how you want to receive it. Believe me, this is a lesson I learned the hard way.
