It's ( and literally IT) is at the drive in in Mchenry!   Anyone going to the theater OR drive in this weekend?

I LOVE horror films! I remember watching the old one when I was a kid. I think it was a mini series over the course of several days on regular TV. Watched it from my bunk bed!

Anyone else love Stephen King?

I remember being freaked out by nightmare on elm St
I'm gonna go enjoy IT at the theater
But watching it at the drive in would pretty cool

... I won't see the movie, because that alone guarantees that I won't like it. My favorite S. King books are "The Green Mile" and "Salem's Lot." He also has a chapter on the history of a town called Ilium in Tommyknockers which is stupendously hilarious.

There is one in Mchenry, Il still =). All updated with a digital screen and cool new wasy to listen. Although they still have the nostalgia ones that hang on your windows.
