I can give you a whole list of women that start out at more than $500 minimum who are both brilliant and natural, with delightful and unique personalities, and are incredibly vivacious in private. Then again, practically every single one of them require greater than an hour minimum for a date, and possess the qualities of the demimonde, so they tend to rock your whole world, and not just one tiny southward portion of it. ;-)

As I look at provider ads and rates, I am forced to the conclusion that the following items are the most valuable in increasing your rates:

- A boob job
- A glamor photo shoot
- Bleached hair
- A good tan

And if you can deliver all of that with a beautiful beach as a backdrop for the photos, well there does not seem to be any limit to what you can charge - okay, not really, but it does seem to be what gets you into the $500-$1000 per hour range.

To hell with performance, body, beauty, brains - give me the blonde bunny with the boobs! Well not me, really, but I am weird.

And to those ladies who avoid the fake tan, implants and bleach bottle, why? Sure you may be wonderful, beautiful, smart and pretty much perfect the way you are, but if you transform yourself into a Barbie doll, you, too, can charge an extra $100 (or more!) per hour.

If you forced me to speculate, I would guess that most guys discovered the female anatomy, and their own sexuality, playing with their sisters' Barbies and are still trying to live out that fantasy. Me, I think I got hooked on Gidget, go figure.

It depends. I am the type of guy that do likes blonds, nice rack :) and the funny outgoing personality. Do not get me wrong here. Those barbies so to speak do look nice. But for me if it is overdone, that is it. And it is always funny when they try too hard. I like when the lady is dressed with taste, turns heads where ever she goes, but at the same time being classy. That is priceless.

Gidget? I had to look up that reference, she was also "The Flying Nun." You're an old-timer Zig, but I can't say I go for any of the fake attributes in fact, I try to avoid ladies that look like this. I can get past the fake boobs, but the fake tan and bleached hair makes me gag. Save your money ladies. If you're looking for this to make a few bucks, it will. Chicago has 1000s of suckers waiting to pay you to "look pretty" and not deliver, but the other 334 days, you'll be starving.

I too don't like the "bolt ons", the bleached hair and spray tans.  Give me a natural woman with a personality anytime.  Like you said, if she is dressed classy it goes a long way with me.

Anyway, despite the universal protests of all the very reasonable posters on this thread, it still stands - Barbies get the highest rates so someone must love them, a lot of someones, in fact.

Hell, I am pretty sure an over the top boob job is automatically worth $100 an hour, meaning there are two (maybe three) reasons for me to take a pass

And maybe Gidget was not quite the right reference either, but she certainly was the anti-Barbie. Sally Field always played too bubbly and I prefer a little mood and mind, something darker and more passionate. Body type was okay.

I wasn't calling you old Zig. You can probably still lay enough pipe and screw your way to Indiana and back. I just hadn't ever heard of Gidget. When I found out, I was ROTFLMAO. So kudos to bringing a decent topic to the board. As for paying for the extras, boobs and all, I would expect that much of your premise is right. I was at the grocery store and met someone who is the exact anthesis of this and she is in her late 30s and buxom though all natural, though I expect she goes to a tanning salon. I may not get to home plate with her, but I have a date with her on Saturday for drinks.
