This is an interesting psychological test. Look at the photo of the woman on the attached link (as the photo does not appear correctly as an attachment). If she is spinning clockwise, you are using your left brain. If she is spinning counter-clockwise, you are using your right brain.
A small percentage of people will see her going both ways, but most will only see her going one direction.
See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain’s current. If you can switch between seeing her turn either way at will without shifting your gaze, your IQ is above 160 … which is almost at genius level! (Actually I find this rather easy to do.)
This was devised at Yale University for a 5 year study on the human brain and its functions. Only 14% of the US population can see her move both ways.
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses logic detail oriented facts rule words and language present and past math and science can comprehend knowing acknowledges order/pattern perception knows object name reality based forms strategies practical safe
RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses feeling "big picture" oriented imagination rules symbols and images present and future philosophy & religion can "get it" (i.e. meaning) believes appreciates spatial perception knows object function fantasy based presents possibilities impetuous risk taking
"Only 14% of the US population can see her move both ways."
Well, if "seeing her move both ways" means your IQ is "above 160," I can attest to the fact that WAY LESS THAN 14% OF PEOPLE have an IQ over 160. Actually, it is under 3% of the general population that even has an IQ above 130.
some tests define "genius" as 140 and up. I guess it depends on who is defining it. Mensa requires a score of 132 or 148, dependent upon the test that you submit for consideration.
Angela. Why is it, that you find yourself unable to make a simple post without 'spewing venom?' first, the link was working just fine when I made the post. Secondly, despite your many comments about keeping the board civil, you post what could be construed as an inflammatory or derisive comment. Wouldn't it have been kinder to simply state that the link did not work for you?
just my opinion... Thank you everyone for giving me leeway in expressing it.
Sinthia, if my humor disturbed you, and you were unable to see that it was not meant to irritate you, and if my way of communication isn't up to your standards , don't like my comments and only can see me as uncivilized I'd have to vote that it does seem like you are being infammatory towards me. My post was by no means means a inflammatory it was simply being in fun.
Sorry you had a bad day . Hope your tomorrow is happier. No drama no correcting and by far no venom needed to repromand me. I'll just stay away from your posts which is probably the best thing to do to avoid venom and drama.
I looked down at her foot and she reversed. Not for long though, kept staring at her and then she flipped back again. I know my IQ and it's nowhere near 160
It does go in both directions. Keep your eye on her arm. She goes clockwise for longer unless the pace chances I saw her go both directions pretty cool test!
Hmmmm, this is awkward. I click on the link and first time she is turning clockwise. The second time I click on the link she is turning anti-clockwise. Is my computer playing games on me? lol
