However;  when it comes to the burbs...  Where do I go?  I've always been a downtown kind of girl, but have a couple of requests, is there a burb that I should stay away from?  Navigate towards?

Oakbrook seems to mean Lombard as often as not these days. That is what I have observed lately - hope that helps and you have a great visit.

Thanks to y'all who have written and given wonderful information!  My laptop died :(  so I am pc borrowing right now (like that makes any sense - lol).  So, once I get it back from the pc Dr., I will be able to formulate the exact dates, will do suburbs first and over the weekend, then off to downtown for a few days.

So, I'll keep you posted and WOW!!!  after three years of not coming out, I am totally stoked at the fantastic response!
