I know everybody has experienced it on TER. Is it just me or is it more common the longer you've been on TER? If you're like me and don't have money to burn every week or month, you become more and more selective due to dissatisfaction. It seems like I spend considerable time checking out providers but ends up being fruitless. ATFs seem like a myth, I rarely repeat. I keep it at $400 to $500 an hour. Am I being a cheapskate or what? As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
some people are not repeater type of people. I think it's best for you to stop looking for an ATF. you will never find her, and you know why? because you will scrutinize the shit out of her looking for flaws and you will surely find them as we know from the "self fulfilling prophecy theory". your budget for hobbying seems appropriate to me but maybe im bias cuz i happen to fall in that range.
Some people say you find what you are looking for once you stop frantically searching for it. it doesnt hurt to try. Some people also tend to think that the more they spend the more they should expect and while i can see how that is true for a lot of things, not always it applies. some people just charge a lot of money for their looks, not because they will go one inch further than the next girl. Some people will charge more for opposite reasons. In short... you sound like you should keep your entitlement on check when browsing for your next adventure.
being discerning is a good thing. i think you being careful in choosing who you see is a good thing. it just seems you are just expecting the impossible from girls.
I was texting with a friend the other day. She said this. "All I'm looking for is a little black dress that does this, is this length, has this neck line, this type of cut, in a size this, that doesn't have this and does have that."
"Oh yeah, and I need it to be good fabric."
I was like ummmmm... If you go into stores where there are designers other than you, you're going to have a hell of a time finding something if what you're looking for is that specific. Open your mind just a little bit."
I was able to tell her this, because - every single time I went into a shopping ordeal with something exact - to the T - in mind, unless I was having something custom made, I always wasted a day, leaving frustrated.
When I have gone shopping with an open mind in all things, I came out with some of the most beautiful dresses - dresses I would never buy if I would have pictured it. I even now am opened up to some new styles, and - yes - even less expensive and higher quality. lol!
Now that girl is gifted. She had to put up with one tiny thing she didn't like, but I was pretty impressed that she found literally exactly what she explained. I never get that lucky lol!
Then there's another situation... Sometimes we know exactly what we like and want. We find it. We put it on - and we look like a frump. It doesn't fit us right, and it slides up in the back. Someone suggests a different fit, because we don't really know ourselves enough to know what fit looks best on us. So we try the other fit, throw a fit, and still don't buy.
One year later, we grab the same dress, put it on, and think *gasp* why in the hell don't I ever wear this?
Keep an open mind, try some things on, things you might never try. You might come out with something that fits better. Something you would have never thought would fit you.

That analogy makes a whole lot of sense. When I look into it a little deeper my sense of Wishful Thinking is hoping she's trying to send me a subliminal message to become a singer in The Nude Opera.
I'm sure she meant it in a different way, but one can still dream of one day attaining the unattainable.

....but do keep sn open mind that they just like you are meeting for the first time and even though they are what I consider to be professionals in the arena of building attraction each person is very different. I say look at website and read. Choose someone that peeks your interests and is like minded as you. At that point as far as you know she checks all the boxes you want to see if she lives up to that in person.
I will say the phrase I used to see years ago that I do not see pop up as often anymore is "I love what i do and you will too". This told me that shes a woman that genuinely enjoys what she does and pleasing you is her pleasure. She wants to have a good time with you just as much. When I read her site and kinda determine she's that type of lady I choose her. Have I been disappointed before? Sure, but i go into each date with the intention to have an awesome experience. I'm not there to try to scrutinize what she's doing. I'm there to let her show me how good she is at doing what she does, not to scrutinize her (not sure if that's your outlook, just sayin).
I end up finding I having the BEST experience across the board when the feeling is mutual. I know in bathe back of my mind it's P4P, but when I walk I her doors I put that as far back in my mind so that my outlook is focused on this beautiful kind and educated woman that desires to make it so I cannot get her off my mind afterwards.
Agreeing with what others have said, I go into each encounter with perhaps some specific requests in mind, but looking mainly to enjoy whatever happens between us. I only knew I'd found my ATF in retrospect. Yes it was partly what was on the menu, but mostly realizing that wow, we really clicked! I really like her!
