Chicago is a treasure trove of music (jazz, rock, classical), art, museums, theater, exceptional dining, shopping, sports, etc., etc.

When you get to your hotel, go through the guides, and/or pick up a copy of Chicago magazine. If you can't find lots of diversions, you just ain't trying.
