I'm going to be visiting Chicago in Sept for a convention.  But I wanted to know which hotel bars (downtown) are the best for meeting ladies.  Nothing pre-arranged, and no harrasment.  Just meet, then go upstairs.  I will have a room.

I don't think there's any.

The out of town conventioneers tend to go to the Rush and Division bar/club scene which isn't too far off from many hotels in River North (a bit further from downtown/Loop area but still less than a $10 one way cab ride).

There's a more upscale bar scene south of Rush (maybe from Chicago/800N to Oak/1000N) that's been developing for some time now.

I haven't been in that area in a long time so I can't say what you'll find but you might get lucky.

If you can pre-arrange something, there's a huge listing and verification service called RoomService2000 (aka RS2K).  The two agencies that get favorable mentions are Michelles and Secretly Yours.  All three have websites (and the providers from Michelles and SY probably have reviews here).

I am sure they are somewhere out there, but I have not seen any overt provider presence at Chicago hotel bars.  For agencies, SY has some good reviews but I have not tried them yet because I am always having such a good time with Michelles.  Do a TER review database search on the Michelles' phone number to see their reviews.  My favorite of their current ladies would be Heather (f/k/a Sloan as an independent).
