It has happened to me a couple of times, and after a while I did get a response after sending an email to the provider. If she is a professional, she will respond, if not, well then you are probably better off... let it go.
Yesterday I had an appointment with a provider has a good reputation and reviews. I showes up at the agreed upon hotel. I phoned her as requested, but the cellular service was not working. I then went into the bar where we were supposed to meet and waited. After an hour I left quite dissapointed. I emailed her and left voice messages on her phone which is now back in service. Still, I have not heard back. I realize that things happen, but the lack of communication is bothersome.
Um, if she does not respond, do nothing. Chalk it up to dumb luck and research someone else. Her no show no call may be a good thing for you. If she cordially responds to you and you must see her, try again. Maybe something stupid happened and maybe she will welcome your understanding?
Give her a few days to reply. It's possible she had a last minute emergency and couldn't contact you. If you notice her posting and she hasn't contacted you, then reply on her thread and call her out. Ask her on a public forum why she didn't make your appointment and why she hasn't replied to your messages.
and what revelation might one expect to making a Federal case about having been stood up?
If she's professional, she'll most likely explain in private on her own, But, if 'loyal' calls her out, everyone who reads the board will want to hear something meant only for him.
I think the idea is that if she doesn't quickly and privately respond to him, then posting on an open forum lets everyone know what she did. To some maybe that's harsh... but then again this is a business and to be successful you don't miss appointments or at least you don't stand someone up without reason.
That's a little hyperbolic, I'm not suggesting he make a "federal case" out of anything. You're right, if she's a professional, she will respond in private. If she doesn't, I think many of us would appreciate knowing the name of the provider who is a no-show for no good reason.
As a provider, should I post something every time a client stands me up, or cancels at the last minute? I don't think so...
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If providers are being outed openly, why not clients who do the same act?
That's the difference as far as I'm concerned.
As far as posting about a no show client... go for it!
and there are many (including men) who disagree about outing anyone at all. If there are outings, it should be equal. Remember if the guy does a no show that provider is out of her 300. Does it make that right? Nope. What's fair is fair and that is as far as I am concerned about it.

Who said you couldn't post that information? However, there's a big difference between clients and providers. The clients are the consumers and pay for a service. For the most part, the boards are places were clients go to gather information about the providers, and knowing who is a no show is good information to have.
Let's not pretend that providers have no recourse. Many ladies are have friends in the business and are part of their own community. They can tell each other if a client was a no-show/no-call. Some sites have a "ladies only" board where information can be shared. I believe that escorts can contact RS2K and register a complaint if a client cancels for no reason.
The goose/gander comparison is not valid. The clients are the ones spending the money, we are the ones that go through a careful screening (and for good reason). The providers don't have to provide personal information (home phone numbers, places of employment, etc.) before a meeting. Hell, how many of them even use their real names.
I'm not advocating a flame war with providers who cancel. If you read my first post, I suggested that that Loyal waits a while to see if there were some unknown circumstances which kept the provider from showing up. If there wasn't a good reason, many of us consumers would like to know who the name of the provider who doesn't believe that our time is as valuable as theirs.

I still feel what's fair is fair regardless of who is paying who. Just because someone has money to pay for something doesn't give that person the excuse to disrespect another person by not showing. That makes all men who are here to meet females look bad. The same goes for the females who makes all the ladies look bad, when they do this. It's not fair on both sides to disrespect anyone.
Private messages can give you the informnmation you want just the same.
Don't you have a "ladies only" board over at TBD to do just that sort of thing?? I think that board should be open for hobbyists to view, if not to post. The boards over here at TER are geared more toward the client and less toward the provider, the exact opposite is true over at TBD.
Cancellations are one thing(at any time) but a no call/no show is hard to forgive. Providers can be protected by asking for deposits, what protection does a client have if the provider does a no call/no show? None at all. These boards at TER are the great equalizer. I have never had to call a provider out, but if I was wronged and there was "attitude" on the provider's part, then the only recourse would be here.
Sometimes I think this community forgets what it truly is, a service for money operation. Money is the driving force and clients provide that money. These boards help show the clients which providers are worthy of their money, quality providers have nothing to fear on these boards.
then I don't see the point in outing anyone on here at all. But if so, again, I feel both sides should be entitled.
Dont you think that all boards should be public though? It makes sense since back-channeling is also available to providers. I have NEVER met a lady that pulled a no call/no show on me. I usually find a provider and do repeat biz. Both sides of the hobby can be bad news, but if the circumstances are such that the provider or client was arrogant and/or insulting to the client or provider, then the exposure provided by the boards would be necessary. I think it would make fence mending a quick option as posts can be pulled with the author's asking.
I suppose a R.O.B review is also an option, but those would be much more effective on a private board such as the providers have on TBD. Cancellations should always be expected by both parties, extenuating circumstances come into play all the time.
No call/no show is a plague that needs to be wiped out...there is no excuse for that, not ever. I had a death in the family once and found a moment to be considerate to notify a provider, if I could do that at that time, anybody could, at any time. It happens on both sides I agree totally, it just seems to me that posting reaches the largest audience(and the posts can be removed). The offending party should make a gesture to the victim, a provider with service for the client, a client with money for the provider, if that offer never comes, then post. Just so you know I am able to see your side of the equation, any client that double-books appointments and no shows should be blacklisted. That is very unethical to put a provider in that position. This post is just my opinion and not a statement for or against the tried and true methods. I realize posting something damaging is harsh. On rare occasions, harsh may be appropriate.
.... a no call/no show is not a rip off, it's just unprofessional if there is not a good reason. Besides, reviews can be taken off the board at the request of the ladies. I know it doesn't always happen, but it is an option.
Certain providers have "white knights" manning the boards to start flame wars. This in turn pisses off the mod and then all posts and reviews are removed!!
I have been stood up from every so often, but the providers have ultimately communicated as to what the problem or emergency was. Our meeting was set for Thursday and I still have not heard a thing via email or cell phone.
When I want to be sure I'll get a date, I always arrange an extra appointment with a "plan b". That way if plan a flakes, you got a backup. It pays to have the backup as close in location as possible and maybe staggered in time to allow for some lag time. Sometimes paln b gets stood up, but as you are learning there is no hobby police.
I often laugh about the rants on "etiquette" that come from both client and providers. This is an illegal activity, sometimes our expectations on certain behaviors can be a little unreasonable.
Providers can be stood up as easily as clients, but clients too can be ripped off as easily as providers... what's one to do besides tell everyone about their experiences... good or bad.
and that is why providers back channel. Don't you agree with that? I TOTALLY agree there is no hobby police, nor should there be any impersonaters either.
No show/no call is not a rip-off, just bad luck. I had a no show/no call despite providing a deposit (will never do that again) and my RIP OFF review was rejected because there was no graphic detail (duh). Inconsistency and insincereity is part of this biz, for both hobbyists and providers. Good research is the best defense for hobbyists, checking good references is the best defense for providers.
This is very upseting to read. Most of us take our appointments seriously. To double book a girl that would not do it to you is unfair.
Take it out on the ones who stand you up. Not an unsuspecting "plan B" girl.
I don't usually rant but this is type of attitude is shocking!

Actually it was a very innocent mistake and I take full blame. I thought Wed he thought Thur. We BOTH ended up waiting for each other on the seperate nights.
Then LOVELY Nextel screwed up my package on my phone and instead of $120 a month my bill was over $1,000. I protested, they turned off my phone. I protested, faxed over contract and it was all "oh, we are so sorry..." #$%&*
That meant instant black-out to my clients. I was, however, granted a repreave to see "loyal" tonight, and after some drinks, great fun...and him even falling asleep on me in satisfied slumber (lol...it was cute) I think all the whoop-la was for not.
Thanks for the 2 cents some of you shared. I appreciate no one blasted me w/o knowing the true cause of the misunderstanding.
kisses...and licks of course....
Laney Michaels.
