but I'm fine with restraints during a session. Screening isn't 100% percent fool proof. But at the same time, I don't take no mess. In addition to references or other forms of verification, I also screen super heavily for personality and ethical compatibility. (There are lots of shameless raging misogynists who I'd never even want to breathe the same air as much less submit to and be restrained by in a BDSM context.) It's come up many times for me in sessions. When there is mutual trust, and someone has a high regard for my consent and safety, being restrained especially when coupled with a blindfold and/or gag can be such a thrilling and liberating experience.
