It is with mix emotions that I bid adieu to the wonderful ladies of Chicago as today I officially move to the warmth of Pensacola, Florida, where I will spend the rest of my retirement making butt prints in the sands of time. I will always have fond memories of my beautiful moments with the ladies with whose company I have enjoyed. While I plan to continue the hobby, providers are limited in Pensacola with back page (yuck) being the primary source of information. I would appreciate receiving any suggestions from the ladies on where to search. Unfortunately, I am no longer a VIP.
The Florabama is indeed a hoot. I have been going there for years, coming here very often, and staying on Perdidio Key. I remember when it was smaller than the new version. The old one was washed away in a hurricane. The mullet toss is fun to both watch and participate. Let me know if you have ideas on finding providers
I spent some time in Gulf Shores about 25 years ago and went to the old Florabama on a rather regular basis when it had a "hole in the wall" atmosphere and then coming back many years later and barely being able to recognize the place
I also remember the place being mentioned in a John Grisham novel way back when. If anyone remembers back to hurricane Andrew, that's about the time I was there. I remember playing a round of golf on Perdido Key the day Andrew hit La. Although we were well out of the impact area, we still were getting 40-50 mph winds even as far away as Perdido. It made for an interesting round of golf that day for sure.
