BBBJ and DATY

hey guys. i just performed DATY on this girl i met at a club (not a provider) and i got tested and i have something called NGU (non-gonococcal urethritis) they told me that the girl probaly had chlamydia and when it's passed to men, it usually shows up as NGU. i must have contracted it through DATY for i have never had unprotected intercourse.

they are both 100% curable with this antibiotic the free clinic gave me. nevertheless, i want to let my fellow hobbyists know so that they all can get checked out too. don't forget, if the provider has gonorrhea of the throat and performs bbbj, then you can get it. that is also curable with antibiotics but man it's such a hassle. i had to wait 2 hours in the free clinic and i have to take these pills for 2 weeks so i can't drink.

i've read lots of reviews where guys hate it when the provider does CBJ and no DATY. the way i see it, it shows that she is very careful. i've seen a few providers but never did bbbj or DATY with them, but that other night i was really drunk and i broke my own rule and did DATY with some girl i met at a club. believe me, i love bbbj as much as the next guy, and nothing wrong with hobbying, but if i don't know much about the girl's history, or i don't feel i can trust them, i'm playing it safe.

that's just the way i see it. thoughts anyone?  i would love to hear back from some providers too. thanks.

She most likely has no idea she is sick.  Chlamydia usually shows no symtoms and will wreck a woman's reproductive system.  It's very common and rarely checked unless the woman specifically asks to be screened for it.  One girl I knew was in surgery for what they thought was cysts, only to discover that she really had chlamydia.  Why THAT wasn't checked before they opened her up, I'll never know.

Most doctors seem to either be under the impression that we are all virgins or don't want us to think they are calling us promiscuous, because I have never been asked if I wanted that included in my yearly exam, and they have tried to talk me out of STD screening in the past when I have requested it.  My new gyne is great, he knows about my lifestyle and expects me in every few months for testing.

About DATY and BBBJ.  Yes, they are both risky for the reasons you stated.  I have been wrestling with the idea of going back to CBJ because I do not want to get anything and make my husband sick.  He's a very tolerant man, but I don't think he would be very happy if I made him sick.  I know other ladies who only do CBJ and their business doesn't seem to be lacking.  From what I gather from the ladies who have been in this biz longer than I, CBJ was the norm until just a few years ago.

As far as DATY, I think most men are with you on that one, as most of my encounters do not involve that.

i wish i could, but i didn't even get her number. it was a total one night stand thing. NGU was the only thing the clinic was able to determine within minutes. i have to go back in 2 weeks to get the results for everything else i tested for. i just hope i don't come back positive with something else that isn't curable! if that girl had no idea she was sick, she may also have no idea she's got hiv for those symptoms take very long to appear.

i hope my fellow hobbyists get themselves tested soon. you can find free/low cost clinics by going to www.gettestedchicago.com

to top it all off, there is this amazing provider in town this week that i've been dieing to see. but i don't want to infect her, so i have to do the ethical thing and wait till i am all cured and make sure i don't have anything else. maybe she'll come back again.

Just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents....
I prefer Planned Parenthood, they are safe, easy to schedule with, will perform all tests that you request, very affordable and very confidential.  Female exam with no insurance runs about 180$, but that is with full screening for everything.  Then, once you are done with the appt, you get a nunmber to call and retreive your results and a password to enter over the phone...no message is ever left for you on your personal number.

I find this incredibly convenient for personal and other reasons.  I know the clinics here in Phx are great, but sometimes your family doctor is just not the person to be going to about this type of thing.  I always prefer going to someone that deals with this sort of thing all day.
Plus, being the clinic they are, you can ask your doctor any questions you have and they will be 100% honest with you about the statistics, and any other info you would want to know.
Very informative and oh so comfortable!

Good luck, Hope everything turns out okay!!
