Tonight's main stage show gave us a clear picture of how warring providers can really fuck up what is supposed to be fun and drama-free. You can't be a regular around here and not get caught up in wars to some extent. Been there, done that and I'm not a happy camper.

Really low blows VC exposing so much of what should have remained a private dispute. You and your nemesis are far from perfect but it's you launching the first strikes. I"m sure I'm not the only one who's noticed this. She could have exposed your secret but she stayed silent. Yet you took the opportunity to degrade her in public. I'm disappointed...

To all Chicago providers, I hope you realize that drama makes you less attractive to hobbyists than your touring competition. The infighting, cliques, and attempts to draw hobbyists into your side of these battles is pushing us away from you.

All in all, an enlightening day of information that I would really rather not have been privy to. Give someone a rope and they're sure to hang themselves.

I for one didn't understand most of it, but will say that my guess is that most folks will steer clear of the parties involved, just to avoid the drama.  Plenty of drama in our "normal" lives, why would we want to step into more?

Chalk it up to newbie mistakes in most cases. You live and learn, most of the time the hard way.
