We all know that TER took down ads in response to the new FOSTA/SESTA law. That may be just precautionary and temporary until the legal landscape is clearer but the more I read, I don't think so. Reviews are still available but who knows it that will be true in the future.

I have two questions:
1. If the smart people are TER are taking this step, how long until the other review sites, escort malls and perhaps even agencies follow suit and stop advertising? Does the law apply to them? Why not?

2. I'm not predicting this yet, however, has anyone figured out how this community of responsible adults in this hobby carry on if most or all of these sites are taken down?

What happens next?

I can only guess that more sites will do the same. I don't see why the bogus law would not apply to them as well if and when it's in effect. I don't understand the hype of switter because I just don' t understand how it will be exempt from scrutiny. But that's just me not understanding things. More than happy to be wrong here.

Regarding question 2

People should save info of providers/clients they have seen as best they can. Screenshots or whatever, share info on who is good to see. Also, clients should see if they can pre-screen with anyone they've been considering seeing now. I did. None of this is my original idea. Just things I've seen people talking about and all good ideas in my opinion. I did recommend providers trying out RetroShare on another forum. Awesome platform that I think would be perfect for this. A provider could start her own RetroShare community and the thing could grow and grow. I guess there could be issues as it got bigger though.

The other thing is no matter what, solutions will pop up. The government is always going to be a thorn in the sides of free people here and there. Then they find a way to ignore their bullshit and keep on living their lives.
