Yours is a cautionary tale and one that should be avoided. NEVER, under any circumstances prepay for a service, any service because if things are not under your control then you really have no recourse, but to wait and hope she honors it. I did several thousand dollars of database work for a contract that was a gentleman's agreement only to get the shaft in the end. It happens. I've met the person I think you're talking about and nothing impresses me about her that I would trust. Sorry for your ordeal and I hope she pays you back in spades.

Appt. with Piper

Had appt. with Piper and did the prepaid deal for two hours.  It didn't happen.  I really have some challenges on promptness for she asked for a last minute time change, which was fine.  But after I got to the incall after the adjusted time, she didn't pick up her phone, her vm was full, she didn't call me to let me know what was going on after 20+ minutes. I had a couple of drinks at the bar and ate, but that was not part of the plan.   I then got in contact via email,  yet she still wouldn't call.  One hour and 45 minutes later, we still hadn't gotten together. I left.  We have had some exchanges of emails and perhaps I will get my money back, but this was highly disappointing. Driving over an hour, parking downtown, drinks and food, and the prepay that I did weeks ago, not picking up her phone, full vm. Ugh...

Has anyone else experienced challenges with her scheduling?

There is more than one lady that goes by the name Piper. A link to who you had a prob with would be nice. As to your question...yes, anyone who has hobbyied for a while has experienced cancelations and no shows.  However...deposits...prepays....never...never a good idea.

Piper of AZ, and yes it appears she is making a grand exit per her comments about retiring.    She kept insisting i do the pre-paid deal as well, it didn't feel right so I passed.   She was a no call for my appt as well at full $.    She said the 1/2 price deal was because she wanted memories not $.   Be careful boys.

Thanks for the information gentleman. Piper seems/seemed to be very reputable provider, however with this bit of info I may reconsider. Hopefully Piper will chime in on this.

Was her reputation. The rate was discounted for 2 hours.  I was born at night, but I wasn't born last night. Lessoned learned though.

With some providers they will lock in a special deal for them by pre-paying

I prepaid, in a round about way, for a date last week. You just need to understand it is a gamble, and only prepay if you are prepared to lose the money. That was my attitude - I knew that I would be SOL if the provider reneged. Not saying that makes it any less aggravating, or more acceptable, just that there is a risk you will be screwed in a bad way.

Scheduling with her has been a problem.  Have to send many emails. No replies. Then got a reply and scheduled but multiple follow ups are needed. See my earlier post.

I have alot of emails and I try to keep up as best as I can. I have no assistant anymore, so I do apologize. Only 3 days 'til I am gone for good and then no one will ever have to worry about it again here in Chicago So be happy baby

WOW!!! Tis the season.....The holidays always seem to bring out the worst in some people and it seems as if this holiday season has some people wound pretty tight.  
Outsiders view point:  I see that one of the most AMAZING women is coming into Chicago for 6 days and this will be her LAST VISIT!!  I do what I need to do to see if I can find a way to see her!!  Pre-pay?? Sure, if I want to reserve some time with her...someone who if you shell out for an hour...it usually ends up at least 2 and you cant walk for a day afterwards.  So there is some problems with communication??  If you REALLY KNOW her...roll with it as you KNOW she will make it up to you and then some.  Time constraints?? With her...you SHOULDNT HAVE someplace to go afterwards; you never know how long you may end up being with her.  
Her viewpoint:  I tried to communicate, missed the time slot and now instead of  someone being understanding at tardiness and roll with it, I have a client who is pissed....do I even WANT to see someone who is pissed off and has an edge if I know I am someone who is an "In the moment" woman?? Prolly not.
My viewpoint:  I do have a slant, although my slant is due to the fact that I have seen Piper a few times the last couple of years.  And yes, she does have a quirk to her, but if you take the time to get to know the woman...you are in for a treat!!  The last 3 times I have seen her, she had never been on time, but there was always a form of communication in some way or another and I just kinda rolled with it ...and glad I did!! Each time I've been with her, our hour date has ended up a minimum of three.  She came into town early and returned my call.  We juggled times and places a couple of times, but in the course of that evening, we went from finding an hour to get re-aquanited to ending up having a long dinner together, got a room at Sybaris, and then enjoyed another couple of hours of....energy!!  She has always been MORE than fair to me as I have been fair to her.  She has been generous with MANY with her time and energy and she will be missed by me and I am sure by many others too.  Good Luck Baby!!
